in a good locatio 10 mins walk from medievil site and 2 mins from city centre, 5 mins from train station. 2 star rating is basic but good value and v ery clean |

I liked the welcome from the receptionist. The rooms were fine and the location OK. Toilet/shower in a cupboard did not give much room for one's needs. Lack of lift a real problem for someone disbled like me. |

The owner 'Madam' was very helpful on arrival and has reasonable English so we were able to make ourselves understood. Seemed very secure and it was in a good part of town for everything, near all the main attractions. Three minutes from the town square, 15 minutes from the Cite and 10 minutes from the station and Canal de Midi. Noisy at the front rooms with the window open and it needs updating in decor. Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there was a machine in the lobby. |

The girl at the desk was very helpful when I asked about the location of the Saturday market and marked three place son a map, using her excellent English. Always shouted 'au revoir' or 'bonjour' when going past. |

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful with directions to local tourist attractions. Breakfast was basic and very limited choice. Should have read more carefully about pets using the hotel as my wife is allergic to cats and dogs and it caused us a few problems but the hotel is clear that it does take pets so our fault but if allergic to animals take care |

It was very easy to check in no problems with the language.Close enough to the Medieval city to walk. The bed needs replacing, and we found it hard to locate the shaver point( it was on the side of the light above the mirror) |

Welcome by receptionist (male) very welcoming and informative was very much appreciated. Breakfast was adequate and location was excellent very central to old city and train station. Tried to order a taxi in the morning to airport and was told I should have ordered it the previous evening, I could not understand this as Carcissone International city !! However taxi was provided eventually and the driver was extremely friendly. Tip to travellers if travelling with two or more persons a taxi is cheaper than the shuttle bus from train station to the airport. |

This is an efficiently run hotel about 20 minutes walk to the entrance of the cite, and about the same distance from the train station so its location is good. We even had a distant view of the old town from our window. The room and en suite were well equipped and we thought the breakfast choice was excellent too. |

The hotel was in our opinion good value for money and its location ideal for enjoying Carcassonne to the full, the Canal du Midi and further afield on foot and by public transport. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with our choice of hotel. No door to the bathroom. |

helpful staff - we were able to check in hours early. Cleanliness of room, bed and shower room. Conveniently situated for station, main square and Old City. Breakfast good value. Had we been on the third floor, we would have regetted that there was no lift. It was unnecesary to have clean linen every day - not environmentally friendly, but luxurious! |

Good base to visit old and new city. Friendly staff. Rooms clean if dated. No lifts. Very noisy at the front of the hotel. Dated decor, could do with a bit of TLC. |
