Au Vieux Moulin  

Surpassed our expectations of a three star hotel. Very comfortable with freindly staff. Consideration of interior design surpassed our expectations of a three star. A very warm, welcoming hotel.

It took too long to wait for the hot water to come through the taps, sometimes 10 minutes of running the water. Its a shame there was no room service for ordering a late supper, however staff were very accommodating making hot drinks and taking these to our room.

Good central village location and friendly staff. The room was very clean and the maid service made a great effort that exceeded my expectations.

For the price I felt the hotel lacked personality, it met what was required but was overall just ordinary.

Perfect location.

No glassware in the room, so if you buy a bottle of good wine you spoil the impression by using a plastic cup. The breakfast costs 13 EUR per person but it is junk food for such money.

The location was great just a short walk to the town center Receptionist and night manager where always very helpful Great to have wifi in the bedroom and it was free. Hotel bedroom was quite at night as there was no traffic noise,. Breakfast selection was more than was expected and it all tasted fresh . I look forward to staying in the Au Vieux Moulin hotel again .

Very pleasant hotel, just steps from the main pedestrian road. Highly recommended for vacations in the area.

There was no refrigerator (mini bar) in the room.

Easy access to town and lifts. Availability of parking (whilst we were there)

On checking in, we were not told that there would be no dinner on the evening we arrived. Apparently the chef's wife had given birth that day. Had I known, I would have sent her some flowers, however we were left walking around the town looking for somewhere to eat, having traveled some 400/500 miles that day. All the restaurants were full, and it was not a great start to the few days we were there.

Tout était parfait ! le personnel est super, les chambres spacieuses, les lits très confortables, l'accès direct au centre de Megève ainsi qu'au téléphérique et prix très raisonnables ! Nous reviendrons dès que possible et conseillons vivement cette adresse !!!

Der Besitzer des Hotels war sehr freundlich und sympatisch. Wir waren mit dem Motorrad unterwegs. Unsere Bikes bekamen einen extra Parkplatz der Videoüberwacht war! Das 3 Bettzimmer war sehr geräumig und angenehm. Das Essen lecker. Als Verdauungsspaziergang war das nahe gelegene Dorfzentrum spitze. Für Kurztrip sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir wollten unsere Reise um 7.30 Uhr fortsetzen und standen mit allem Gepäck ready to go vor der Reception. Leider ist diese erst ab 8 Uhr besetzt... Auch Frühstück gibts erst ab 8 Uhr. Reichlich spät wie wir fanden...

Une très belle chambre spacieuse et une belle salle de bain. Bonne literie. Au coeur de Megève, mais pas trop. Balcon agréable donnant sur la piscine. Piscine grande.

Pas de spa en libre d'accès, quelques permanences. Pas de sauna en libre accès. Hotel : accueil moyen, personnel peu présent. Parking très limité à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Chambres mal insonorisées. Personnes bruyantes devant l'hotel à 5 ou 6h du matin... Piscine extérieure non utilisable les jours de pluie.

Supporterais petit frigo dans les chambre et peignoir de bain
