Arrived on a Monday, restaurant closed but before we arrived we checked to see if food would be made available, we were told yes but no choice, a fixed menue. When it was served it was very poor and very expensive. Not much else available in the town.

Arrived on a Monday to find the restaurant closed and just a plat du jour for supper.Pork knuckle with sauerkraut - O.k for my husband but I cannot stand sauerkraut. They kindly cooked me chips instead and made a small salad. So the food was excellent and the wine too. They even gave us the cheese for their own table to finish. The room was vast and had a sofa.So all in all a very pleasant stay. Next time we will go when the flammenkusche oven is alight. T.V and wi-fi old fashioned but servicable.

The breakfast was advertised as a 'buffet breakfast', but the variety and quantity of food was very dissapointing, especially for the price.

“The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious meal in their restaurant in the evening. The rooms were very comfortable and possibly recently re-furbished. It is situated in a quiet location in the countryside but with easy access to the major motorways. We used the hotel/spa as a one night break on a long drive back from the Dordogne, but would definitely recommend it, and would go back ourselves for a longer break.” Susan, Southampton |
