Used as a "stop-over" en route from Loire valley. The standard of the food was superb - better than many gourmet London restaurants (we eat out a lot!) and the staff very friendly. We ate by the river, looking at a peaceful scene of ducks/cows (on opposite bank). Room was comfortable and breakfast good standard. Definitely worth seeking out if you're in that area. |

The evening meal was excellent and good value and the service was efficient and cheerful The bedroom was stuffy and hot even though the night was cool outside (a fan was provided); the shower/toilet was very cramped. Access to the hotel was not available until 1830, so we had to fill in time elsewhere because we had not been advised in advance. |

Friendly and helpful management, quiet area Hotel is somewhat isolated so there are limited dining options. The restaurant is good, but in my opinion is not great value. Wine specifically seems overpriced, with the cheapest option at €7 for 250ml for the house wine if I recall correctly. Menus are available at €20, €27, and €35 (without wine). Breakfast is good, but an extra to be paid for at €6.50/person, so keep it in mind when comparing. |

The little river at the rear was really nice, with seated area, to sip the local beer. The owner who spoke no English tried to be really helpful. On both evenings the restaurant was not open. This was really unhelpful. The room walls were paper thin and you could hear hear the persons in the next room turning in bed, never mind all conversations, TV, and other....We were lucky they were rather quiet too! |

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Lovely setting and , although situated on a busy road, the rooms are situated away from the road and noise levels were low. I was disappointed not to be able to get into the hotel before 6 o'clock. |

Location and breakfast excellent Nobody there on arrival. Notice saying restuarant closed but giving tel number for hotel. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to arrive. Expected to eat but could not. Man in charge helpful with alternative, I wonder if someone arrived without mobile phone and some French how thet would have coped. |

The food and service was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The walls could do with some sound proofing. |

The Restaurant was good with an excellant choice of food and wine The room was small with a high window, we were only staying one night so this wasn't an issue, however if we had been staying longer it could have become a problem |

This lively and historical hotel located in the centre of Montreuil-sur-Mer is full of character; combining modern comforts with old charm. Its huge ballroom makes an impressive venue for functions. |

Set in the heart of the medieval city of Montreuil sur Mer, the hotel, which has been thoroughly refurbished, is housed in in a building built under Napoleon III. |
Situated near the A16 motorway and the city centre of Étaples-sur-Mer, the residence welcomes you to the banks of the Canche River. |
