Location, room size& friendly staff. Magnificent view of vineyards from bedroom window. Quiet & close to restaurants. Wifi was good - you just need to know how the system operates. That is, logon with ID & password before each session.

Very good value for a two star hotel. Ideally placed at the top of the town to explore all parts of St Emilion. The continental breakfast is very good.

Perfect location, Great views. Would prefer a little more decor in the rooms, whilst perfectly adequate they could use a few more paintings on the walls or different style bedcovers.

Auberge de la Commanderie is located in a great location in St Emilion. The hotel is clean and although the rooms are small they are modern, well laid out and comfortable - excellent value for money.

It's within the City, and so is perfect for sight-seeing. We were located in the Annexe, just across the street, and the standard of the room was fine. Dropping off luggage can be a hassle, and car parking will always be an issue, although they do have a smallish plot of land ten minutes away. However, it's just the inconvenience you put up with, to have the convenience of being in the city.

Great out of town aspect, nice by the pond, having a glass of wine there by the pond, the hens and ducks walking about. Staying there longer one could play tennis. A very good restaurant. If its the weeknd one is trapped with respect to dining options....Lesparre Medoc a drive away and the close by Gaillon Medoc very limited. No capacity to provide for oneself at the hotel?

Very central, one of the few hotels right in the middle of St. Emillion, clean, comfortable and modern. No restaurant but there are dozens within 2 mins. Nothing to do with the hotel, but St. Emillion is best visited before 12:00 or after 18:00. Between midday and 6pm it is heaving with busloads of people who come in on numerous coaches for a fleeting visit and who mill around the town in gangs being lead by people with flags.

The location was excellent. Wi-fi was supposed to be available but we, and others, couldn't connect, which was very annoying as we wanted access to be able to discover the st.Emilion area. The parking wasn't clearly identified, which meant driving around the town to get a parking slot.

Air-conditioning didn't work and that was a problem given that we were just off a busy street and we couldn't leave the windows open. Wifi was promised but didn't exist.

Right in the middle of the awesome castle-like medieval village of St Emilion - you have to drive your car through a castle gate and over an old moat to get to the parking lot! The views of the city are incredible and the staff personally escorted us to our room and ensured we had all we needed. Nothing!

The location, the room was comfortable and the staff absolutely! They were very friendly, helpful, polite, respectful and amicable. The parking situation, but this I totally I understand and I had plenty of room to park where they told me to, but I very honestly was very happy with my short stay.
