Very beautiful and plesant place. Very kind and attentive stuff. If you want to forget everything, you should go there.
Location.. Amazing place right at the base of huge rock wall in quite forest valley..!! Lot of hiking options..fort de buoux is around Half an hours hike ! Can relax by the swimming pool the whole day listening to nature ! Small stream runs next to the place. Most friendly and Pleasent, helpful staff and amazing food too ! All for a very reasonable price !
There is no transport option unless you have your own car or walking ! But that's what keeps this place as great as it is !
the air, the pool, the buildings, the friendliness, the uncommercialised vibe, the night sky, the natural beauty...
bar / restaurant closed too early...
Beautiful location, really cheap, friendly staff and guests.
Bathroom was a bit dirty and bed was small but that is to be expected in a hostel. I would reccomend it if you are not a finicky human.
Environment, location (in the middle of nature), big pool.
Room was humid (due to construction of that time), breakfast was very simple.
We enjoyed the remote, scenic location, the rustic but clean quality of our room, and the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
We didn't care for the microscopic shower with a shower curtain that reached only 2/3 around the pan. I also found it difficult getting the suitcases from the parking lot to the room up the stairway. The light in the stairwell went off automatically while I was still ascending and was quite dark.
Really amazing place.We are planning to go for longer time;
Nothing to comment
The domain is beautiful and the staff is friendly
The dorm is really very dirty (dust and spider nets everywhere and disgusting stuff under the beds).
+performance/price ratio is incredible! +don't bother with going to a nearby city for dinner... the menu is quite satisfactory and you can enjoy your wine without thinking who will be the driver on the way back. +the staff is quite welcoming and cheerful, they are ready to help you.
-nothing, i wish we could have stayed more :) à la prochaine fois...
The rustic setting in the middle of nowhere. We loved it.
Nothing at all.
Rain drops in the room
The location is high atop a mountain. The scenery was beautiful. The views were stunning. The place is an old commune from the 1940's. Old stone buildings. Very rustic.
The staff was as rude as they could possibly be. We arrived 15 minutes after the kitchen closed. We were tired and hungry after a very long drive, yet we could not get even a crust of bread from the host. At breakfast the next day we were surrounded by a million flies. The place is run down and uncared for. Sad because it could be a beautiful place with proper management.
Our kids loved our stay at this property. The location is beautiful. The restaurant dinners are very nice. It is a family operation and they provide great service. Its a world away from the tourism of Provence. We would love to visit again and will recommend to all our friends.
We booked in to the dormitory, an it was an excellent value! The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. We were actually unusually lucky in that we were the only ones in the entire dorm for our 2 night stay!! The hotel was busy, but not the dorm while we were there. We loved the rural location and the proximity to Bonnieux and other lovely Provençal sights. If we had more time, we would have loved to take a hike in the area.
For dorm guests, be aware there is no kitchen and nowhere to store cold food!! We ended up eating our own food for breakfast and eating away for all our other meals. There is a restaurant on site, but we were away in other towns sightseeing all day, so we never tried it.
Wonderful stay for my family of five! Stunning beauty...and a mouth-watering dinner. Not a place to stay for the night..but a destination in and of itself...
