They take care of you! Accidentialy we arrived in the middle of an early springtime rainstorm. 3 degrees celcius above zero! Anyway - soon well-prepared, compensating dinner was served. So we got on with our journey. Fit for fight!

Beautiful family run auberge in the countryside near Mirepoix with gorgeous views towards the Pyrenees of France, Spain and Andorra from the front and a little lake to the back. Very peacefull.The owners are very friendly and helpfull and will do all they can to make your stay enjoyable.We ate in during the 3 nights that we were there and the food was home cooked and very tasty with a good choice on the menu. I especially enjoyed the excellent casssoulet,a speciality of the region.The breakfast was also very good. The room and the beds were very comfortable. We liked everything about it.

Very nice, quiet location off the d119 from Carcassonne to Mirepoix. It would be the perfect spot for visits in Mirepoix, if you didn't want to stay in the town. Owned by an English couple, the are both very accommodating and make every effort to make your stay enjoyable.My room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Madam does a fine job with dinner, too.

Very friendly welcome. Family room was split into 2 rooms separated by an archway, giving a nice sense of privacy. Lovely scenery with mountain and lake views from the auberge. We ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely meal. We stayed in 6 hotels during our 3 week trip and this was definitely the best experience and best value of the lot!

Hotel faultless but it was difficult to find. It was further out of Mirepoix than indicated on the map. So check carefully before setting off!

Excellent location with stunning views of Pyranees in the distance. The food served in the restaurant was deliceous and the attentive service from the proprietor was to be commended. All in all- Superb

The view was lovely, the accessibility to tourist attractions, willingness of owners to meet needs, good value for our money

For the price breakfast was a little less generous than similar hotels offering the same sort of deal.

We were met with only friendliness and kindness. Both David and Sylvia were most accomodating, sharing their knowledge of the local area and excellent advice. The Auberge is perfectly situated to explore the Carcasonne area with all places of interest from the Cathar age within easy reach. Then to arrive back each evening to a delightfully tasteful meal was a joy. The surrounding countryside with spectacular views of the mountains and country walks are worth returning for another stay in the very near future. Unfortunately our stay was cut short by our poorly dog but we will be back.

On a tout aime a l,auberge depuis l,accueil du patron jusq,au cadre exterieur avec vue sur les montagnes la chambre confortable est spacieuse..la salle de restaurant bien decoree et le cassoulet qui allait bien avec sans oublier le petit dejeuner copieux ..tout ca sur une petite colline au bout d,un chemin sans circulation donc le grand calme et j,oubliai la piscine ..quand au patron il est hyper sympa et pas avare d,infos
