Patio, comfortable room
Lovely room, nice bed, great views. The location is fantastic, and really lovely. Great local restaurants. We only had b'fast in the Auberge, as they were changing chefs. Getting to Cabris can be challenging, but believe in the satnav and you get there.
The Auberge is located at the height of the old tranquil village and looks out on a terrific view towards the Sea. It is quaint, historic, pleasantly human, and quiet. A pleasant escape from the bustle of the coast. Great for a get away weekend. Great for artists or readers or writers. The restaurant is very good for lunch and dinner. It is close to Grasse which is bigger and busier but also a type of interesting mountain village (actually high hills). It is associated with St Exupery.
The parking situation is adequate in that there is a public parking lot and the nearby church parking space but both are not supervised. This doesn't seem to be a problem in the seemingly peaceful town.
The location, the ambience, and especially Cyril, the maître de!! Eleven out of ten! Cyril was efficiency and pleasantly multiplied!! I love this place. Will definitely be back.the bells of Cambris chime as I write this...
We liked the location in a very pretty village in the hills away from the noise, hustle and bustle. Enjoyed the hotels excellent restaurant and also many other high quality restaurants near by.
The views were spectacular and one of the local bars was very friendly.
The room was quite well appointed, with amazing views but it was very small and disorganised and could be so much better. The restaurant served high quality food, but overpriced for the location. Also, a couple of the local restaurants were low quality and overpriced.
a bit an old place
The room was simple, fresh and clean with a nice view over the surrounding area. The hotel restaurant (though we didn't eat there) appeared to be very nice with wonderful views of the distant sea.
No reception area we could find. If it rains in the morning you have to pass outside to get to the restaurant! Umbrella's provided would have been a nice touch.
We spent here 3 nights in August 2014. The personnel was very nice (and speaks english). The food and wine in the restaurant was excellent! Room was very clean and comfortable. We strongly recommend this place!
prices of mini-bar were a little bit high
The hotel is situated on the edge of Cabris with fantastic views overlooking Côte d'Azur. We had a terrace overlooking the Mountains - fantastic! The restaurant is one of the best we've been to!! Well Worth a visit!
There were no one to welcome us when we arrived.
The location. Nice smallish room (14) with reasonably good bed. A beautiful terrace comes with room, but a parasol should be provided.
The room gets very hot and there is no air conditioning, nor are the windows screened. Hence the necessity to buy mosquito repellant. Also, some lack of privacy due to maintenance jobs being performed to the terrace and the windows without any consultation beforehand.
Gorgeous Views, Peaceful Village Great Food Plenty of Restaurants and cafés to relax
Friendly relaxed staff, great views and nice food.
Simply beautiful location, staff happy to serve, top dining experience.
We only reserved for 1 nite, that is worth for more.
Superb location and panoramic views; excellent restaurant; small, intimate hotel; friendly staff
The view from the surrounding area was really stunning. The village was great. It had quite a few restaurants in a few minutes walking distance. The member of staff who showed me to the room was charming, as was other members of staff I met
The restaurant was very expensive, and so we ate elsewhere. 35 euros for a basic wine. The room was small but it was the cheapest. Very very difficult to find the hotel, if it is any help, it is next to a church!!!!
Lovely village and location. The headwaiter and his lady assistant were first class , but we were surprised that other local restaurants had better catering.
Calls itself a Hotel - only 4 rooms -no reception - no information on locality - closed for breakfast 2 days a week - we +other guests had to find somewhere in the village[no names or location of optional places - no plan].Being closed for dinner 2 nights didn't matter as there are very excellent alternatives. There is no lounge or sitting area, apart from some outdoor seating at the top of the entrance stairs to the bedrooms, but this is higher than the adjacent kitchen, and kitchen smells waft up.I didn't see anyone use the facility during our 6 night stay. The bedroom was very small, with only room on one side of the bed for a bedside cabinet. There was no chair to sit on and really no room for one.We had to sit on the bed to watch any tv.The screen was to small .The frig was so noisy that we had to empty it and unplug each night. The internal bathroom was tiny, and led into a very small wc.Neither had any extract system .We would not return to the worst accommodation we had in 3.5 weeks touring France and Germany.
The restaurant is really good! We arrived on a Friday afternoon and were glad that they kept a table for us despite it being fully booked. Breakfast (9euros) was really good and included eggs in various style on top of the typical French breakfast (bread/cheese/jam). Most of all in front of the hotel you can get a panoramic view of the region.
There is no air-con in the room and only a small window. Although there was a small fan provided but it gets a bit stuffy and warm during summer espeially
We stayed on a Tuesday when the attached restaurant was closed. The location was marvellous, views terrific, room well appointed and very stylish. The village was quaint and the restaurants fantastic.
We found this little place by accident and had the rare luck that a room was available. This is a hidden treasure. Only 4 rooms, usually booked out months in advance. Absolutely stunning location, great rooms and staff. On top, awesome restaurant with great service and delicious food. I highly recommend to stay here! We will definitely come back and stay for more than just 2 days!
Romantic place, nice view, excelent kitchen...
Beautiful hotel and village lovely restaurant and helpful staff. Great room
Room too hot and noisy above kitchen
Owner and Staff very Kind! Great Position and Price!
The location and views was magnificent.
No staff met us upon arrival or at all during our stay and it was difficult to find.
We had room 14 with a private terrace - it was just lovely to sit or lie there and enjoy the sun. The location is just awesome, the people were very friendly and helpful, and the food was very good (we had dinner in the restaurant on one night, and breakfast on both mornings).
There was not even a small table in the room to put my netbook on so I had to work sitting on the floor (close to a plug) which was not really nice for my back.
