L'Auberge Everhôtel Mainvilliers

Staff spoke English and were very helpful. Evening meal was great value for the cost.

Location was hard to find as the street name was not recognised by gps navigation systems. Had to ring the hotel who very immediately aware of the issue.

The Staff were extremely helpful and were only too pleased to satisfy our needs. e.g. A window would not close. A member of staff attended to this matter almost before I could get back to my room. A light bulb needed changing. Again this was immediately attended to. Our request for a slightly earlier breakfast was satisfied. A really friendly management team, including the Chef!

The main complaint was that the location of the hotel on the Google map accessed through your website was incorrect. This caused us some delay in finding the correct location, even with SatNav, and in the end we had to phone the Hotel for directions. The Duty Manager was apparently aware of the problem and apologised for our inconvenience. Secondly, Room 44 (on the end, second flooor) is, it seems next to the water heater. A rather large one! This resulted in quite a lot of noise and a somewhat disruptive night for one of my party. Not a huge problem.

I liked that it was unusually clean and staff was very kind and helpful, had fast reaction to my needs

Clean and good beds. Shower and toilet wre clean.

Hotel was in a good position and easy to find. Internet access was fast and efficient.Breakfast was reasonable if overpriced.

Hotel restaurant did not offer the meals listed, this was only made apparent after you had commited yourself to eating! Most of the major ingredients appeared to be not available and it appeared that the hotel was geared up to weekday Mon - Thursday business travel. Meal provided was bland and overpriced.

Good for overnight stop, then continueing journey

My booking was not recognised by the machine in the foyer, even though it was a confirmed booking.There was nobody at reception when we arrived at 19.30.We were helped by the gardener!

Hôtel fonctionnel situé à proximité d'une nationale, au coeur d'une Z.A. Gérant agréable. Distributeur automatique de clé pour arrivée de nuit.

Une seule serviette dans la salle de bain. Pas de possibilité de mettre un lit parapluie pour bébé dans une chambre avec lit double, donc obligation de prendre une chambre avec 2 lits simples.

Kamers goed geïsoleerd. Goed ontbijt. Dicht bij Chartres.

Das Hotel ähnelt eher einem amerikanischen Motel als einem französischen Landgasthof. Viele Parkplätze und für Liebhaber von Fastfood McDonald direkt daneben.

Das Hotel liegt, nicht wie beschrieben, in/an einem Wald, sondern am Rande eines Industriegebietes, nahe einer belebten Schnellstrasse mit Blick entweder auf McDonalds oder Ackerland mit Eisenbahnlinie. Der nächtliche Geräuschpegel macht ein Öffnen des Fensters für Frischluft unmöglich.

Er werd op ons gerekend, de kamer was goed verzorgd en voorzien van de noodzakelijke faciliteiten die goed functioneerden.
