Location and staff were helpful and the room was charming and functional
Everything - also, please eat in the restaurant!
Lots of character and Friendly staff.
No Wifi and could not bring food from the restaurant to our room.
The room was lovely - beautifully decorated and very clean. Our stay was brief but very comfortable and we would definitely stay again. The good in the restaurant was delicious.
The waiter in the restaurant wasn't particularly friendly but it didn't matter much.
1) The handy location. 2) Very good water pressure in the shower. 3) A separate reading light. 4) The interesting touches to the furnishings.
Althought the scent in the room was pleasant at first, I found it too sweet and too strong after the first day.
Easy access to metro and I could walk back from a lot of queer nightlife after metro had stopped running. Charming place with great staff. My room was upgraded to larger size at no extra cost, so Iucked out there.
My only complain is that the wifi often cut out and, when present, was extremely slow relative to what I'd get at, say, a Starbucks.
The front desk staff were all very helpful, fluent in English and went out of their way to assist us. The room decor is lovely and the bed is superb/comfy. The AC worked really well and made the room sound proof from the city noise. Very clean also! A nice place, convenient to Place des Voges, Opera etc
Auberge Flora is the smallest room I have ever slept in! For two people with 2 large suitcases and various smaller bags it worked for a night. I cannot imagine spending multiple days there with my husband. There is no closet for clothes and we could only open the suitcase on the bed as the entry didn't allow enough room.
Very nice, soft beds. Thick sheets, but not too hot. Very good quality of sleep. Great location. Charming rooms. Good value for money.
Rooms are somewhat compact, but this is not unusual for Paris.
We (2 adults, 13-year old girl & 1year old boy) decided purely on the location-price-combination...and were pleasantly surpised > the Marais is in walkable distance, the Metro is only 2mins away and the romm was nicely decorated, clean and (for Paris) exceptional spacious (Junior Suite on the 3rd floor). Particulary to be mentioned is the receptionist Aurelie, who was not only extremely friendly & professional during check-in & -out but did her outmost when we had to solve a challenging situation the morning we had to return home...
This place was just perfect! Love it!!
Easy access from/to Bastille metro. Room nicely decorated - nice effort by the hotel. Clean room.
The room was too small. I only had a cabin luggage and I just had enough space to open it in the room next (not on the bed). I wasn't very keen on the open bathroom in the room with the humidity generated by the shower.
The location was excellent. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay
The coffee machine in the room was not the best. This needs to be improved. A simple jug kettle with coffee and milk sachets would have been sufficient.
Highly recommend this place and would go back. Which is something I personally don't normally do. A*
A small, clean and very comfortable hotel close to the Metro (Richard Lenoir) and convenient for Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. Excellent food and good service in the restaurant, although a limited breakfast choice.
The rooms are quite small, it's true, but how much room do you really need to sleep?
Staff is friendly, especially at the restaurant. And the food was great!
rooms are smallish...
Very small room. Bathroom is directly in the tiny bedroom. Tub was 3feet from the bed! Decorated all black. The worst were the nights. Room faced the very busy Richard Lenier Boulevard. It was impossible to sleep. I had to buy ear plugs and it helped a bit but overall it was a bad experience.
