The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic and the wine enjoyable.

Nearly everything. The location and view, of course (views, from the terrace and, at least for us, from our room). There is a nice walk through the woods which allowed for some exercise before dinner, although the view from the auberge is just as good, or so we found. The goats are curious and amusing, and the sheep had a coat of wool the likes of which I've never seen. The presence of the owner and her family personalized our stay. We were on a wine holiday and having the winemaker overseeing the ordering process for the dinner led to some great fun-- she allowed us to taste from several "cuvees" to decide what we wanted to order with dinner. And Nathalie was a great source of information about winemaking in the region. The meal was reasonably priced and well prepared. This is a well run facility by gracious people.

Hard to say there was anything we didn't like. The reviews we read suggested it was hard to find. That's odd because the directions are carefully sign posted in the village (the road leading up to the auberge is on the north end of the village) and there were additional signs all the way up the slope.

This is a fabulous hotel. We were met by the owner, who spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome. Our family room was clean and spacious and had superb views out over the surrounding countryside. The restaurant served us excellent local cuisine with wonderful home produced wine, which is also available for purchase, which we did! There is also a wine museum on site which gives a perspective on wine production in previous times. There is also free WiFi in the hotel. I know we will be back again one day.

The room was large and to a very high standard and certainly exceeded expectations, particularly for the money. The on site restaurant was excellent and the setting enjoys magnificent panoramic views from it's location on the top of a hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very helpful and friendly staff and a lovely big family room and bathroom. A little difficult to find but the stunning views made up for that. Good food and nothing too much trouble. We will definitely return the next time we are in the beaujolais region.

Stunning views and a lovely terrace where you can sip the local wine. You can also purchase direct from them - good value and very drinkable.

Very nice newly renovated spacious rooms and a welcoming warm atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and service minded and we were treated as friends or family.

Great bedroom and fantastic view. The food was fabulous.

This is a beautiful little place located on the side of a hill overlooking a spectacular view of the French vineyards. The owner makes her own delicious wine and manges a restaurant on site...she is simply lovely. She sufferred our broken French but spoke English easily. Unfortunately, we were only there one night and visited a Michelin restaurant close by so did not sample the dinner menu. However, the breakfast was great and included in the reasonable hotel price. The views are spectacular and, if you are a little adventurous, there is a hiking trail to the top of the hill that gives you a 360 degree view of the surrounding valleys...quite unbelievable...there are even picnic tables so you can linger over wine and cheese...if you remember to bring them! Next time we will book for longer!

Always best to travel with a GPS system if you are unfamiliar with the area.

We waren hier voor de 2e keer en het uitzicht vanaf het terras blijft fantastisch. De ontvangst was weer bijzonder hartelijk. Als je voor de 2e keer het zelfde hotel kiest begrijp je wel waarom.

Nous avons passé une agréable étape dans cet hôtel qui fait penser à une chambre d'hôte, les chambres très confortables et neuves, salle de bain très spacieuse. Les repas servis était de très bonne qualité et petit déjeuner conséquent. La propriétaire des lieux nous a fait découvrir son "magnifique" musé du vin. Nous y retournerons sans aucune hésitation en famille ou entre amis...endroit sécurisant pour les motards.
