Location, location, location! An experience you will never forget, sleeping on the island. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were very disappointing and not functional, but one must keep in mind that these are located in 16th century homes |

This hotel had so much charm! It is right on the Grande Rue in Mont St. Michel and my room looked onto the ramparts. This a great experience to stay in a medevial town that is on top of itself. I've read reviews that complained that being so close to where people walked by was disturbing but I found the historical aspect fascinating and if you close the windows no one can see in. Remember this entire town is a preserved historical site and if you choose to stay there you must accept the limitations that imposes. The staff were very nice and so helpful. The girl at the front desk happily let me leave my two big bags with her when I came in early and she got them to my room before I got back. Dinner was excellent and I really enjoyed myself. |

the location is superb. It's right in the old town and we had direct access from our room via a little bridge onto the ramparts. Also you can buy tickets for the monastery at reception, thereby skipping the queue. |

Wonderful place to stay right on Mont St. Michel. Our room had a spiral stair case leading to separate loft where our kids had their own room. The bathroom was spacious, clean and a great working shower/tub. The staff was very helpful and printed out a mapquest to our next destination. It is not that we did not like it but we bought our tickets to the Abbey from the hotel so we did not have to wait in line to buy them at the site which was a good thing. But we didn't realize that by doing so we bypassed where you can rent the audio tours so I wish they had told me that. |

great location and charm.. BUT, the toilet was not ventilating properly..it seemed like the odor from the sewer was coming out..the shower door caulking was bad so water from our showers spilled onto the floor..i meant to complain about this but was such in a rush to leave i didnt get to it..i feel we did not get value for our money |

Having a room on the island of Mount St. Michel is a great experience. We stayed at the main hotel on the only road on the island. It was very noisy from 4:30 AM with businesses getting ready for the tourists. |

The hotel is close to the city gate, therefore there is not a great distance to carry bags nor an onerous uphill climb. |

The room was horrendous. The hotel did at least give us a discount. The room was horrendous. Amongst other things the toilet smelt of urine. The hotel did at least give us a discount. |

It is accessible only a few walks after getting off the shuttle; antique room decoration. If possible, change the curtain of toilet, very insecure ~ see through! |

A fantastic location in the old, walled town of Mont Saint Michel. We had a view of the Abbey from out window. There was also access to the ramparts from a door in our corridor. Breakfast was good. |

Stunning location right by ramparts on Mont St Michel. Great to stay on after day tourists leave, watch the sunset and the abbey light up. |

Hotel location gives you an excellent opportunity to visit Mt St.Michel when it's not crowded (and after nightfall), which has a lot of value in itself. The hotel room was not located at the main street - we had to walk some stairs to get to it. This was not a problem but for people with heavy luggage it might be |

Location is great although the room we stayed was not in the main building of Auberge Saint Pierre (where there is a reception). As it was kind of isolated, it was not noisy at all at night which was good. Our room was initially in the main building but a few weeks later we were informed that the room is not in the main building but located in the separate building. Wine glasses were not clean. Room was too tiny for three adult people. |

It was nice to stay so close to Mt. St. Michel. The heaters did not work, the bathroom shower flooded the floor and they would not send towels to clean it up, it was dirty and in poor repair, and when we told the management that we should not have to pay the full amount, they completely ignored our request and told us the heaters did work. |

It was extremely convenient to get to Mt St Michel and the parking was much easier than I anticipated. Also the staff was the most accomodating and friendly staff that I've ever dealt with in our 3 years in Europe. |

Location...location...location!!! The hotel was on the main street of Le Mont St Michel. The area is extremely crowded with tourists during the day (0900-2000) but after they all leave, the place is sparsely populated. From the 1st floor of the hotel, one can pass through a door that leads directly to the ramparts. The sea is directly below. |
