Friendly welcome and nice garden but room was a little tired and in need of redecorating.. The evening meal was very expensive for a small a la carte meal and the breakfast was very limited. Pretty exterior and dining room but not value for money.

The hotel is located in an idyllic location in a small village a short distance from the river Vezere. The owners are Welsh & French and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. The food is excellent and you actually get vegetables on your plate.

We had a very long drive to get to the hotel and it was so good to have the welcome afforded by the proprieter. She could not do enough to make us welcome and we had a very comfortable night accommodation.We enjoyed an excellent evening meal at the Auberge and would certainly recommend the Auberge sur Vezere.

-Les prouesses du chef: nous avons bc aimé le ris de veau et surtout osez oui osez le dessert aux lentilles citrons confits et vanille de bourbon. -La déco de la salle très zen laissant aux clients une part de confidentialité - et bien évidemment l'amabilité de l’hôtesse.

Fijn overnachtings hotel. Goede keuken vriendelijke nieuwe eigenaars. Ontbijt is echt Frans maar daar tegen overstaat dat het diner zeer goed is. 2e keer daar als overbrugging naar Spanje geweest.

De keuken is prima. Wel wat prijzig, maar erg goed. De kennelijk geboekte kamer is wat "achteraf" gelegen en de privacy van de badkamer (open raam met zicht op de buren). Jammer want de kamer is verder oké.

Leuke inrichting eetzaal, met huiselijke collectie boeken. De vriendelijke hulp van de chefkok, die niet te beroerd was om ons (succesvol!) te helpen met het repareren van onze ruitenwissersproeier. De bestelde gerechten van de menukaart bleven wat achter bij de eerder per mail gewekte verwachtingen. Toetjes moesten voorafgaand aan de maaltijd besteld worden. Toen wij na ons hoofdgerecht onverwacht toch nog trek bleken te hebben in een dessert bleek er behalve ijs niets voorhanden te zijn

Bon accueil. Bon hôtel d'étape. On y mange bien. Les propriétaires et le personnel est fort sympathique. Les matelas pourraient être changés. C'est un hôtel calme mais les chambres sont mal insonorisées et on entend ce qui se passe dans les chambres voisines. Mais les point positifs l'emportent. Surtout un bon cadre et une bonne cuisine. Le petit déjeuner est trop simple et cher.

Jolie auberge dans la vallée de la Vézère, au calme, idéalement située entre la Corrèze, le Lot et la vallée de la Dordogne. Accueil charmant de Sara, la propriétaire des lieux et cuisine raffinée de Francis son mari. Chambre de bonnes dimensions, lit kingsize. Bonne table, jolie salle à manger ouverte sous les tilleuls de la terrasse. Je recommande cette adresse, excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Le village magnifique dans lequel se situe l'hôtel, l'accueil très agréable des hôteliers, la chambre très grande et le lit tout aussi grand (très agréable quand on est grand soi-même) ainsi que le prix tout à fait raisonnable pour la prestation reçue. Un peu difficile à trouver sans gps ;-)
