Dinner was good. Breakfast is too expensive. There is no air-conditioner in the room - we were unlucky because it was a really hot day when we stayed. Some small details are missing: a light bulb was out, toasted bread are very much burned and potatoes are a little short of boiling although the mail part of the dinner meals were very good.

Friendly welcome and nice garden but room was a little tired and in need of redecorating.. The evening meal was very expensive for a small a la carte meal and the breakfast was very limited. Pretty exterior and dining room but not value for money.

The hotel is located in an idyllic location in a small village a short distance from the river Vezere. The owners are Welsh & French and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. The food is excellent and you actually get vegetables on your plate.

We had a very long drive to get to the hotel and it was so good to have the welcome afforded by the proprieter. She could not do enough to make us welcome and we had a very comfortable night accommodation.We enjoyed an excellent evening meal at the Auberge and would certainly recommend the Auberge sur Vezere.

Situation très pratique car très proche de l'autoroute, sans en avoir les inconvénients. Chambres fonctionnelles et impeccables. Accueil sympathique. Le restaurant étant fermé le dimanche soir, nous n'avons pas pu goûter la cuisine.

Fijn overnachtings hotel. Goede keuken vriendelijke nieuwe eigenaars. Ontbijt is echt Frans maar daar tegen overstaat dat het diner zeer goed is. 2e keer daar als overbrugging naar Spanje geweest.

De keuken is prima. Wel wat prijzig, maar erg goed. De kennelijk geboekte kamer is wat "achteraf" gelegen en de privacy van de badkamer (open raam met zicht op de buren). Jammer want de kamer is verder oké.

Leuke inrichting eetzaal, met huiselijke collectie boeken. De vriendelijke hulp van de chefkok, die niet te beroerd was om ons (succesvol!) te helpen met het repareren van onze ruitenwissersproeier. De bestelde gerechten van de menukaart bleven wat achter bij de eerder per mail gewekte verwachtingen. Toetjes moesten voorafgaand aan de maaltijd besteld worden. Toen wij na ons hoofdgerecht onverwacht toch nog trek bleken te hebben in een dessert bleek er behalve ijs niets voorhanden te zijn

Gastvrij; relatief klein hotel; klein zeer rustig dorpje vlak bij de snelweg; prima parkeren; goede keuken. Jonge eigenaars die er wat van willen maken en investeren in hun gasten door actief contact te zoeken via e-mail en bijvoorbeeld het menu alvast door te sturen.Men spreekt bovendien uitstekend Engels.

Bon accueil. Bon hôtel d'étape. On y mange bien. Les propriétaires et le personnel est fort sympathique. Les matelas pourraient être changés. C'est un hôtel calme mais les chambres sont mal insonorisées et on entend ce qui se passe dans les chambres voisines. Mais les point positifs l'emportent. Surtout un bon cadre et une bonne cuisine. Le petit déjeuner est trop simple et cher.

L'accueil très chaleureux... on a l'impression de séjourner chez des cousins éloignés... que ce soit pour l'hôtel ou pour le restaurant. Je recommande aussi le restaurant, une cuisine délicieuse du terroir où les produits sont mis à l'honneur. C'est dans la simplicité et l'authenticité qu'on reconnait les grands chefs ! Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes
