Pleasant receptionist and interesting champagne museum pieces on display. Only 10 minutes from Epernay at a much more reasonable price. Choosing the right room is important as certain rooms are overhead the restaurant and can be noisy.

Typically French auberge with small bedrooms and bathrooms, but good food. Very close to our ultimate destination, so a good choice for us. A good centre for touring the champagne vineyards south of Epernay. We shared the hotel with 2 coachloads of Belgian tourists, which meant breakfast became a bit of a scrum. I imagine the hotel gets a lot of business from such coach parties.

Very good location for a short stop on our way to visit family. Food in restaurant good. Able to eat without being rushed. Good choice of breakfast. Useful car park close to hotel. Shower cubicle/bathroom very small. Second night we stayed, we were given a room which had a sheer net curtain , no blind or thick curtains for privacy. We would have expected either blinds or thick curtains as our room overlooked the car park.

Nice location for a stop-over and free parking. Food was mediocre at its best in the restaurant, but breakfast was surprisingly good with quite a large selection of food. Village is totally dead in the evening and some streets did not have pavements for walking around.

The town had nothing but the hotel was fine. Staff were good and the meals were very good value. We both got food poisoning from the meal on the last night. We thought we were sick because the food was too rich for us but 2 days later we now now that the Beef Kidney dish must have been off .

The bathroom was ridiculous, the size of a porta-potty that flushed. The shower was wedged into a corner and didn't have enough room for a small woman to turn around in and the whole floor got wet because of the way it was designed. The wifi access was for one user only despite it being a double room.

The room was clean and comfortable. Good location, close to champagne houses and town of Epernay. Glad we stayed here rather than in Riems. The hotel was old. The bedroom had been updated at some stage and was pleasant. The bathroom plumbing left a lot to be desired and smelt the entire time - defininately needed some work.

Dreadful bedroom. Staff attitude very poor - very reluctant to change a light bulb that was not working in the bedroom. Unfortunately its the only hotel in the space of two villages, so gets lot of customers. Someone else needs to give them some competition and they would soon go out of business.

Very convenient for champagne trip.Comfortable bed and quiet area. Plenty of parking. Very slow service in the restaurant on the night we were there although the meal was enjoyable. Some of the rooms have tiny, pod-style bathrooms. Make sure you ask for room with bath if this would be a problem to you.

We've used this family run hotel as out last stop before returning from our holiday for several years. It has left the Logis de France group this year but the standards remain as high as ever. Our first floor room was nicely furnished in a tradtional style with a very comfortable bed. It also had tea/coffee making facilities which is not always the norm in France. The restaurant is usually closed on a Sunday evening but Epernay centre is five minutes drive away with plenty of good quality, reasonably priced restaurants like Le Chapon Fin. The buffet breakfast is superb quality and value - so much so that many locals use it. The range of food has to be seen to be believed and is definitely the best breakfast we've eaten in over twenty years of holidays in France. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Friendly welcome . Reception staff prepared to speak in English. Good dinner in hotel restruarant. Good wine list. Friendly service in a family atmosphere. Comfortable and clean room with good bathroom with bath and shower. Although on a road through a village the rooms were quiet at night. A good buffet breakfast including cooked bacon and scrambled eggs plus continental breakfast items. Safe car parking outside hotel. Quick and efficient check out and helpful information from reception staff about the local area. A good base for touring the Champagne region

In the heart of the Champagne vineyards approximately 4km to the south of Epernay. Excellent for walking through the vineyards and sampling the cellars in the village. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately whilst we were there the restaurant was closed so I am not able to comment on the restaurant. We had an email informing us of theclosure on the day we made our booking so this did not detract from our stay. We were able to eat a snack in the adjoining bar.

Friendly staff. On arrival the owner prepared a tourist pack of brochures for our visit to the Champagne Houses, very helpful. Our family liked the access to the restaurant in the hotel, it had nice food at what we thought were reasonable prices.

Loved that everything was there, the bar, the restaurant and even the kids playground, which is nice touch. Not your normal playground, it was your mechanical pony type thing that would normally cost you money to ride. So the kids went nuts riding those things seeing it was free. Staff spoke good english but I like that the waitress at dinner spoke to me slowly in french so I was able to learn a few words and enjoy the French experience. Location was great, no shortage of wineries. Room was great, kids enjoyed the bunk bed and bath. The room had everything but a safe, so had to carry passports with us everywhere

It was convenient for us and we have stayed at this hotel in the past although it had changed over the years. The staff were helpful and spoke English which was helpful. There were a large coachload of Dutch tourists on the night we stayed at the hotel and they took over the breakfast room which then ran our of most food on offer. The staff were almost overrun trying to cope with all the tourists. We did not have anough to eat at breakfast as we had a deadline to meet and could not wait around for the staff to refill.
