Best Western Auberge de Jons  

The hotel is a bit off the beaten track but with a sat nav was easy to find. Our room was adequate, clean and had a nice bathroom. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and it was quite late but they were obliging. However, the food was very expensive and not large enough servings. What we ate tasted and looked good but we did not feel it was value for money. Breakfast was also expensive but there was a huge choice and it was all very fresh.

Quiet hotel inside but located on a very busy main road.

Internet access very poor in the room hotel admitted this is a known problem although they advertise wifi as being available. Towels and pillows are very poor quality. Kettles/tea and coffee available on demand but were never replenished during my 4 night stay. Due to local roadworks it was a 20 km drive to airport.

Apart from the continual aeroplanes flying overhead it was a nice spot in the countryside to stay. Enjoyed relaxing by the swimming pool. The receptionist was just lovely.

The only disappointing thing was we didn't realize until too late that there are a number of lovely walking tracks nearby which we probably would have explored had we known about them.

Close to lyon airport. Close to quaint medieval towns. The cottage room was very pleasant however the sensational view of the river was blocked by over growth.

Only 30mins away from the restaurant capital of France and yet a world away! Alarm bells started ringing when we were given a very limited menu and told that our choices were not available. Then the alarm bells started clanging when we heard the dreaded microwave bell! The restaurant was not in operation it was more like a heat and serve cafeteria.The food was ok but not what we expected so close to Lyon. On our second night in Jons we went out for dinner in a neighbouring Perouges (a beautiful medieval village).

Advertised as having a restaurant, which was closed. The restaurant was still being advertised in the 2011 tourist brochures though.

Rooms and accomodation are nice

They forgot to order a taxi, although we asked two times

Le manque de lumière dans les chambres et le chauffage bruyant

L'accueil est tres bien, personnel tres attentif, nous avions une chambre avec des lits jumeaux et la personne a fait le necessaire pour que l'on puisse en avoir une avec un grand lit. Petite attention mais qui montre que même si nous avions réservé par internet et le site Booking cela ne change rien. Petit déjeuner très correct. La situation géographique sympa nous étions à la campagne mais à 5 minutes en voiture de la gare du tram pour aller sur Lyon

La tranquilité à la proximité des grandes villes et la facilité d'accès

La vue ravissante de ma chambre. Le personnel était chaleureux, efficace et serviable. Toujours un bon accueil chaque jour, petit- déjeuner très bon.

Pas de ascenseur, difficile pour moi avec mon porte-documents lourd. La douche c'est pas terrible. Juste un bain avec douche à la main.

Dernière Chambre au tarif interressant mais a la base pour handicapé. Je ne le suis pas mais si cela avait été le cas vu l'état de la salle de bain, fuite et propreté je n'aurai pas apprécié.
