The place is exceptional, very nice surroundings. I liked the power shower after a long ride in the car. The parking was also secured on the back yard with closed gate at night time. The air shaft in our bath room was very dusty and in the old building you could hear the neighbor's floor creaking. Slept very good anyway. The rates of the restaurant were too high. It was expected but the food was not that good. Even the water was 6 euros.

Perfect staff, great and very big room. Very good restaurant (dinner 32 euro set menu per person). Clean and very very confortable king size bed... Everything perfect. Hotel much better than the photos. We are travelling all around europe since 2 months and best hotel for 50 euro range. Super bir otel, kacirmayin !!! No complains at all. We had car, maybe it can be diffult to go to hotel without car. It is at country side.

We liked its location, it was a very convenient place for us as an overnight stop as we were travelling from the limousin area to the uk. We thought it very unusual and loved the old working inside, it gave it a real sense of atmosphere. Would loved to have seen it in its heyday as a working mill. Will definitely stay there again when travelling back to the uk. Only problem we encountered was, the window in room 10 wouldnt open easily and didnt want to force it. And we did think that it would have been better to have a ceiling light over the desk rather than a table lamp. I think it would have been difficult if a customer had any business papers to look through, they would have had a problem reading things in the dim light.

Very nice/big room with comfortable bed and big pillows. The personnel is very friendly. The hotel is located in a small village, with a little river running past, very peaceful. The building is very old, nothing for those searching for something modern

Hotel is located in countryside. Building seems to be large former water mill. Lots of authentic details. Staff spoke English which is a big plus for rural France. Room was rather small and basic, but then it's not five star hotel.

Beautiful old watermill being refurbished. No kerb appeal at present but great future potential. Restaurant magnificent with large mill gear wheels retained. Helpful staff to explain the complex menu. Currently more a restaurant with rooms. Gated car park adjacent to derelict part of mill gives poor impression. Lack of signage nearly caused us, and other arrivals to leave. Food and drink expensive. Room small but good views. Bathroom had good fittings but very small badly planned space.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. My wife choose the languostine which very tired and dry and their shells rubbery. The steaks although a good flavour were extremely tough. The wine we ordered for the main course was not served until after the steaks had arrived and only then when we asked for the wine a second time. As far as the meal was concerned we had a much better experience at a Hotel Campanile for a fraction of the price.

We really loved this hotel. We stayed here on the last day of a three-week vacation and this was one of our favorite hotels. It had a beautiful setting alongside a millstream. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean with views on the stream and countryside. The food in the restaurant was excellent. It was an outstanding value. Finally, it was located in a small town and easy to find.. We had no complaints, but most of the rooms are on upper floors and there are no elevators. The staff, however, helped us with our bags so this was no problem.

My lovely little room, with two large windows 'around the corner' ,so light from two sides... Chambre 8.And the garden and the food.It had been obviously a very busy day for them, when I arrived at 17.30,every one seemed a kind of exhausted. And then they had to start the evening meal at 19.15 again..But it was perfect.. Well, all the glasses and the bottles (champaign) were left in the garden -and were still there the next morning, but it had been a very busy 'pappa day",so it was understandable ,in a way....

We found that the hotel staff were very plesent and made us very welcome. The room was a good size with all the items available to give you a comfortable stay. The food was very good. We found the path from the car park to hotel entrance was very unstable, which makes it very difficult to carry your bags safely.

The restaurant (traditional cuisine and local bourgogne wines) is fine, i really liked the cuisine and working fireplace. All around it's really nice. Breakfast is wonderful (for a french hotel). The room is clean, you can hear the river (it's an old watermill).
