Thin walls, small rooms, especially bathroom

Excellent position in centre of Biarritz, near beaches restaurants etc, has secure parking at extra cost which is vital as we were touring.

Very small bedrooms need up-grading and soundproofing.

Hotel was walking distance to the beach & shops Had secure parking for the car was comfortable & the staff pleasant & helpful all in all an enjoyable few days

Only down side was that the decor was tired but it was being redone room by room which will take a little time, but when finished will be good. & it was disappointing that the restaurant was closed due to the chef breaking his leg.

Location was good, 10 mins walk from the beach

Avoid room 12, carpets were damp and the bathroom mouldy. Hotel in need of tlc!!

In trying to find the one word to describe this hotel the only one I can find is the word ' dump '....

The Auberge du Relais encapsulates everything that's good about staying in small hotels - it's great value; the facilities, while basic, are everything a visitor could wish for (the shared bathroom was always spotlessly clean and there's even free internet access, for example); and it offers that personal touch that's missing in larger hotels. I really felt like I was staying at a friend's place for a week and would highly recommend it!

Friendly and very helpful staff. The room and ensuite were clean and the price of our room was very fair and reflected the tired decor. Secure parking was also available across the road at extra cost. We stayed two nights and our room was quiet and looked out on to a small courtyard. We ate in the hotel's restaurant and the food was excellent, as was the service provided. We were only a five minute stroll from the sea front. We understand from talking to the new owner that he will be improving the Hotel during the next off season. We recommend and it was good value for money.

La proximité avec la plage (environ 800 mètres)

L'hôtel est vétuste ! Les chambres sont inconfortable, la salle de bain est dans un mauvais état général ! il n'y a aucune isolation entre les chambres ! Vous entendez tout ! Et le prix au final est cher pour ce genre de prestation ! Une mauvaise expérience dans son ensemble.

Me ha gustado su hubicación que esta muy cerca del centro de biarritz, la habitación estaba bien el baño limio, las ventanas dobles en general bien.

El recepcionista que no sabía hablar bien el español, pero se esforzo lo que pudo. Lo que no megusto es que cuando hice la reserva me cargaron el importe de la habitacion en la tarjeta y cuando llegué al hotel me lleve la sorpresa creia que estaba pagado.Pero no, me dijeron que una preatorizacion tuve que volver a pagar otra vez, aunque pasaron unos dias me devolvieron integro el dinero que que pagué con tarjeta.

El baño muy antiguo,tendrían que cambiarlo!

L'accueil a été parfait, tant au téléphone que sur place. Un persopnnel aux petits soins. Possibilité de 1/2 pension. La cuisine est excellente.
