There was nothing that we did not like.
We found every thing was fine at the Avalon Hotel, from checking in to checking out. all staff were friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. We found the fellow that worked the front desk in the afternoon very pleasant and helpful. It was also great to be able to leave our luggage in a locked room after check out. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Paris.

Very helpful staff!

The bathroom. The whole bathroom floor is wet and slippery as the water spilled right to the sitting area during shower.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They manage to deliver what we requested.

Very good advice from the staff. One staff member was particularly helpful in getting us tickets for the Louvre which meant we didn't have to queue! Brilliant!

The location of the hotel

I like that it's a Parisian building at the heart of Paris. Though the corridors are narrow, the room is big enough with modern comforts of a hotel.

Bathroom needed a few hooks for clothes & soap dish. wet room style shower very nice but water gets everywhere!! could do with a shower door.
Location, comfortable bed, coffee making facilities. Modern decor.

Good location near to Gare du Nord; area a little dodgy with some beggars and sellers of what looked like stolen goods. Staff very helpful and friendly

We were given one of the noisiest rooms facing the boulevard and on top of it they had workers redecorating the corridor, so we woke up to their chatter and noise of tools being unpacked and used. A middle aged man handed our keys for check-in with a very malicious comment on the Parisian friend accompanying us to the hotel from Gare du Nord. Mu husband does not speak French and the same receptionist did not bother to greet him our first morning when he went out and back in with croissants.
