The hotel is newly opened, thye have focussed on the contemporary decor which is individual to each room, ours had a minimalist feel to it as had some of the others. It was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel has a very relaxing feel about it, I would most definitely stay there again. There was no restaurant facility aside of continental breakfast, & no tea making facility in the rooms. The former was not a problem as there is an enormous variety of restaurants in the immediate locality. I would however have liked to have the flexibility to make tea in the room. |

The rooms were roomy and the decor was tastefulfully done. Good linen, lighting as a very good atmospher and sound system but no airconditioner. The staff were friendly and helpful but seemed too overworked as they were attending the guests as well as cleaning the rooms. Our room was not ready for check-in until 4.30pm.I realize the hotel is new and there are a few teething problems. Overall really enjoyed our stay. |

Location and furnishings No reception, no powewr in the room except lighting, light spilled in through badly fitting door, no lift and room on third floor, no air conditioning or ventilation in room, no assistance to get taxi to train station early next day, on arival chap on mobile phone ignored us. All in all, an awful place to stay. |

We liked the chic decor and comfort of the room. The bathroom - particularly the shower - was great and big bed was very comfortable. The hotel has lots of character. The location was good, too, in an interesting and historic part of Bordeaux. Les Chartrons is beautiful. We did not realise until paying up that the bottle of wine in our room cost 30 euros. |

Beautiful designer decoration. Nice antique building. Helpful staff. The room was smaller than announced. To have a room with the surface announced on the website I should have booked the higher (and more) expensive categorie). There is still construction work ongoing in the hotel, although the hotel management assured me by phone that work would be finished by arrival. |

Everything is new and very stylish. The bed is just perfect. We booked continental breakfast, but finally it was a French breakfast. |

Very nice linens, in a quiet neighborhood, close to the antique shops, and an amazing deli (La Bocca, on rue notre dame). 1) There was mouse poop on the floor when I woke up. 2) The wifi didn't work in the room, as was promised. 3) The door didn't lock properly, which made me nervous considering I was leaving my possessions in the room unattended. 4) The hotel was obviously very new, but there were elements of the room that were left unfinished. |

Hotel was closed when we arrived, had to call a phone number to get someone to open it up. Waited 30 minutes. Parking is a hassle, garage is quite far, spaces too small for our car, and had to pick up and return remote control from reception every time I needed it. |

Very freindly and helpful staff. Large room, great bathroom and design furniture in a lovely old building in the Chartrons district of Bordeaux, but located only a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the riverside quays into the centre or using the nearby tram. Wonderful city - great cafes, bars and restaurants, wonderful food and drink, romantic old town, good small museums, all very chic and relaxing! The reception wasn't manned 24hours, but this didn't really matter as they could be telephoned if absolutley necessary. |
