It is located near the metro station Anvers (10 seconds of walking). The view is fantastic, with Sacre Coeur in all the splendor. We had a room that seemed big after all I've heard about the rooms in french hotels. We didn't try the breakfast, there are plenty of boulangeries and brasseries near the hotel. No one from the staff bothered us, they are opened 24 hours so you can come whenever you want from downtown. Carrefour and Monoprix near the hotel . The furniture, the bathroom, the doors can hardly recommend this hotel as a two stars hotel. We had to pay a 10 euro guarantee (refundable) for the remote control (only french tv channels). Very small elevator. We stayed here only for the sleep so our interest was to have a good location.

The Good: It is close to metro. It is cheap for Paris. The people are ok, trying to do their best. The hotel is patched to stay on its feet. We had holes in the bathroom covered with tape. We had mold all over walls. The room looked like it was painted by o group of volunteers trying to do something good but not very skilled. Conclusion: The management should resign. A good manager could do so much better for this place in a short period of time with little budget.

The staff were so friendly and helpful; we had a laugh about my appalling French and they spoke good English. The location was right next to Anvers metro- very easy to get around and about and close to main sights. We had a superb view of the Sacre Coeur from our window and the room even had a little balcony- lovely! The bathroom wasn't dirty but had a little bit of mildew on the tiles around the shower. You can see their problem though (and it's fighting a losing battle!) as there is no ventilation to the bathroom so it can't air properly. Nothing that meant you didn't want to shower though and nothing worse than I have seen in houses of those I know, as some have the same issue!

Good location, close to Metro. Free wifi available. In average, price is good, compared to other hotel in paris. Bed room /toilet/bathroom is small, and old fashion furnture. Safe box need extra Eur 1. tv remote control need to have deposit of Eur 10 before you can use it.

Location! Great location - 2 steps from Monmartre and Basilique du Sacré-Cœur. Very close to metro Anvers, Quartier Pigalle and Moulin Rouge cabaret. Hotel is old and all facilities are poor. Old and often broken furniture, very small elevator, very noisy rooms - you can hear even breath of Your neighbors. Breakfast is poor for 6 euro, but it's everywhere in Paris. So, it's a cheap but clean hotel with cheap facilities and great location.

Very good location, very nice, I would, even say, fantastic, view of the window if not building works behind it. Just a hotel for only one night, wouldn't stay there for more time. Minimum price for minimum comfort, good french breakfast for the adequate price. Anyway, the room was larger than we expected. The smell inside and outside the room. When we came there, we had plasters traces on the floor which spreaded evrywhere, but when we asked, the room was cleaned. The towel in the bathroom made an impression of having been used, after the traces of the plasters, could be the builders that used the room for toilet - very strange and we were told that that was not possible. Something incorrect happened. This was the worst hotel from all where we stopped during our trip.

Nice hotel in a good place - that's all. During renovation of facade - its windows are covered with some white courtains from outside in order to prevent dust come in the room. Close to Montmartre, metro lines 2 and 4, a big Carrefour market open til 23h00, just 5 minutes of walk.

It is right next to a public toilet that you can use instead of the one in the room that is held together with gaffer tape, also it is convenient for the metro so you can escape the filthy area and not have to smell the many piles of human excrement in the flowerbeds of the boulevard where the hotel is!! The general condition of the hotel and the room in particularly is very shabby and badly maintained although the outside was being renovated at the time of our visit and this is long overdue

Location excellent. Shops nearby and very close to main railway station. Easy access to cental Paris. A very basic room which is excellent if you are out and about all day. Reported the toilet blocked and it wasn't dealt with until 24 hours later.

Value for money. Although 60 euro for hostel may be expensive but not in Paris. Friendly 24 hour concierge. Cosy but neat and clean rome overlooking Monmarte and top of Sacre-Coeur. Shower is tiny but not a problem if you are gonna stay one-two nights. Price may be. But it is everywhere in Paris

It is only a few steps from the Anvers metro. I have stayed at the hotel 3 times and have always gotten a room with a partial view of the Eiffel or Sacre Coeur. The rooms can be a bit noisy from the neighbors. The exterior of the building was currently under renovation and it was hard to sleep in late because the workers were right outside my window the first few days.

Location is great, few metres from Anvers metro station, nice view of Sacre Couer Church from window, we didnt have breakfast because the price for breakfast seemed quite high to me and there are lot of shops and brasseries around.. Receptionists speak english, room was cleaned and towels were changed every day, bed was comfortable. Quite smelly halls and furniture is not very new but who cares.. First we were disappointed by the size of the room, even if I m used to having small rooms at hostels, this one was really pint-sized (room 26)... but never mind, we needed bed and bathroom only..after all I would come to this hotel again.

- Close to metro Anvers - safe and hairdryer in the room - lift - 24h reception - friendly hostess (english-speaking!) - free wi-fi -Now the hotel is hidden by the skaffholding and you have no view in the street (my room was #36) - there was a very stinky brush in the bathroom - I had to pack it into the plastik bag))))

The location is really perfect - just a 5 min. walk and you are standing in front of Sacre Coeur. There is a metro station just in front of the hotel, so it's very easy to get from there to any other place in Paris. It's also very close to the Gare du Nord, just a 2 stops ride with the metro away. What I also really liked is that you can choose to have your breakfast brought to your room. The bathroom was very tiny - but sufficient for a short stay. Unfortunately, there were some construction works taking place outside of the hotel when I was there, so it was a little bit loud in the morning.

Location, Location, Location !! There are a lot of negative reports about this hotel on sites like Tripadvisor, but what do you expect if you are paying only 70 Euros per night for a double en-suite room within walking distance of all the major landmarks in one of the most expensive cities in Europe ! It is a budget hotel first and foremost and if you want luxury, space, top service etc then this is probably not for you. We wanted a double room with en-suite in the centre of paris as cheap as possible. There are absolutely zero frills but it suited us perfectly. Will definitely return. PS - the breakfasts are no better or worse than plenty of places (croissant, bread + jam, coffee, juice) No complaints at all - you get what you pay for.

This is such a great little hotel - the rooms are quite average in mod cons but still typically French and nicely old fashioned. You can also get a room with a balcony upon request for (as yet) no extra cost with a stunning view of Sacre Coeur. All staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is great for Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, Sacre Coeur, Gare Du Nord (Eurostar). I think it is the best place to base yourself in Paris, you can be stood by Sacre Coeur overlooking the Paris skyline within 15 minutes walk and yet still hop on a metro to St Michel & Notre Dame within 10 minutes too. Add in the fact it is a 5 minute walk from the Eurostar and this hotel can have bedroom views of Sacre Coeur and the high value prices and you will find it hard to beat! This was our third time at this hotel and will be back again and only to this hotel - outstanding :o) Nothing not to like from my perspective
