Hotel Avenue Lodge is located in the heart of the famous Val d’Isere ski resort, just 250 metres from the ski lift. It features a spa centre with a hammam, sauna, indoor pool and a hair and beauty salon. Each room at the Avenue Lodge has a traditional savoie décor and a private bathroom. They are also equipped a flat-screen TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi internet access. The Avenue Lodge’s restaurant serves a daily breakfast buffet and traditional French cuisine. A continental breakfast which can also be served in the rooms is included and guests can relax by the fire place in the lounge bar. Guests of the Avenue Lodge Hotel have access to the Old City and the ski slopes of Espace Killy. Ski equipment hire is also possible at the hotel. Bel hôtel. Le décors du bar et du spa et l'aménagement des chambres. Impossible de régler le chauffage de la chambre et obligé de laisser la fenêtre ouverte nuit et jour en janvier (beaucoup de bruit sur l'avenue Olympique). Réponse de l'hôtel (Henrique) : "c'est normal au 5e étage il fait chaud...". Personnel du bar très moyen rendant cet endroit souvent vide et froid : ["Vous servez quoi comme champagne à la coupe ?" "euh, ben je sais pas"...]. Et vous attendez même si le personnel est souvent plus nombreux que les clients... Je conseille le bar du Blizzard et son chef Barman David juste à côté! Pro shop trop petit, choix insuffisant et personnel sympathique mais complètement à l'Ouest. Il est préférable de louer à côté et de ranger ensuite skis et chausures au Pro shop.

Отель приятный. Везде стены задекорированы под пони. Понравился лаунж. Кровать удобная, много подушек. Санузел удобный. У нас в номере был и душ и ванна с телевизором в стене :) Меня как-то разочаровала спа зона. Маленький бассейн и пару бань. Спортзал - это вообще смешно. Я понимаю, что в горах он не очень актуален, но тем не менее. Завтра как и везде во Франции не блещет. На ужин кормили не плохо, но относительно дорого.

スタッフがとても親切。 スキー用品のレンタルなどがホテル内ででき、しかも割安。リフト券も用意してくれて、すべてホテル内ででき- るので、安心。スキ- ー後はスパ、ハマム、マッサージで至福の時間。バルディゼールの町もとてもきれいで安心して過ごせる高級リ- ゾート。 アクセスには時間がかかるので余裕が必要。ホテルにあらかじめ交通手段について聞いておくとよい。 スパのハマムは、人がいないとスチームを落とし- てしまうので、行く前にスパに電話で一こと言っておいた方がいいかも。初日はスパの店員が終了時間前に帰っ- てしまって、長旅後のハマムやジャグジー- が使えず残念でした..

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms very well appointed, great location for slopes and shopping. The standard room was a bit small and thought that the lobby bar was overpriced - €6.50 for a herbal tea?!

Un hôtel de style design à la montagne.un très bon service.un hôtel pas trop grand donc intime.De très bons petits déjeuners servis à table mais avec l'agrément d'un buffet. Honnêtement je n'ai pas de points négatifs. Il faut simplement faire attention à ce que l'hôtel soit bien entretenu en vieillissant.

The room, location of the hotel, in-house ski shop, the bar. The service, whilst polite and attentive, was not 5 star - more like 4. Very expensive (Bar and restaurant), even for Val d'Isere standards. Some facilities one would expect in a 5 star not available - just by way of e.g. no iron available for the room - so had to pay to iron a shirt - 10 Euro each.

Very friendly staff nice spa valet parking good location nice breakfast The ski room, ski's did not fit.Shoes were placed high, difficult to reach. The system used is the same as in rental shops. Not for private people. (Sliding racks). Shoes and ski's are on different floors.Important issue for a "SKI" hotel??
