Breakfast Garden Apartment was fantastic Staff very friendly Location great
Trains slightly noisy but not too bad
Friendly staff Location Parking
No elevator No curtain at shower Little out of the old city
The owner was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us great ideas for city site and day trip itineraries. Super helpful!
The Lady who greeted us on the first day was wonderful..very welcoming. The location was good. The breakfast was great and the back garden was very relaxing. Changing of the bedding every day was wonderful.
The room implies accommodation of two bedrooms. Travelling as two couples made it more difficult for one couple sleeping in the living room. They had to sleep on a couch that was not comfortable. Some disrepair made the stay more difficult...the cupboard doors in kitchen were broken and the front doorknob kept falling off.
Noisy with windows open
The hotel is run by a family. They are very welcoming and always very attentive. Very helpful and anticipating the needs of the guests.
We had a room under the attic. The room is a bit small. Hard to move around.
Great location, about 5 mins. walking to the city centre. Very nice owners. Parking inside the hotel area. Good breakfast
Atmosphere friendly, location 5 mins walk to Avignon centre! breakfast well laid out with lots of choice - we ate outside in the garden - we had an appartment which was perfect with young kids for a night.
The impression on arrival we thought we had the wrong place, the area is run down but as you are close to the centre it doesn't impact
Rural auberge in a town
No explanation about city
The garden, the staff, the air con, the location and all the goodies in the wet room
The bathroom was too small for a wet room everything got wet including your clothes and toilet no tea making facilities and charged us for tea when we asked looked awful from the street better when you got out of the alley that the hotel was down
Old and cute.
Did not look as its pictures. Very very close to railway tracks but the trains are fairly quiet.
Good selection for breakfast and easy access into the old town.
Although easy into town wouldn't have wanted to walk there on own as a female under railway etc.
Fantastic location, large rooms, great bathrooms, good kitchen facilities, aircon and wi-fi that worked really well. This is not your chain hotel experience but a little piece of French charm in a location that was second to none to explore the beautiful City of Avingon
The price is higher than what it worths. The breakfast should be more various with such price. The owner isnt friendly to Asians.
we had a tiny room with no window, just a ceil/wall top window which needed a pole to open it. felt like we were in a box. bathroom needed a good clean and a door which fitted
Good service and location.
No hot water to take shower in the night I stay. Terrible. I don't know whether it will no hot water after 0am.
The hotel looks very nice from photo and also because of the out look. but it is close to train station and easy to walk to the main shopping area.
Room is pretty basic and bathroom is poor
Breakfast was good
We had booked 2 double rooms. We were in Room 2. This was small, window was high up and there was no light or view. Had to climb into bed as one end was up against the wall. The other room, Room 10, was not a double room but a single room with double bed. Sit on bed and feet were in bathroom. Open case and you couldn't get round bed. Toilet and shower were extremely small. Both these rooms were overpriced and one was very inferior. Suggest booking.com reconsidered listing this hotel. A refund would be in order. We did ask to be moved but no other rooms were available.
Very nice in a good location. Apartment was very large and in great condition. Nicer than expected
next to train, can be a bit loud
Staff were helpful
Noise of trains throughout the night
The location of the hotel is very convenient, with the city of Avignon within easy walking distance. Very nice that the hotel has its own parking. Nice breakfast.
The room we were given was very small, with very low beams that I kept banging my head against. Worst was that the shower and toilet had no door, so no possibility of any privacy.
The owners/managers were very helpful and charming. The location behind the central railway station was very convenient, minutes to the town centre, and the double-glazing meant the trains weren't a noise problem. The apartment had lots of space and light, and excellent cupboard and storage space. A/C available but not needed this time. Wifi & simple breakfast included.
The apartment had no easy chairs - the extra bed in the lounge room would be better replaced by a sofa-bed. Both TVs were mounted too high on the wall. V. small bathroom, with no way to stop the shower overflowing.
very close to city centre
noise from the street
Excellent breakfast choice & layout, very friendly & helpful staff, free parking on site, good proximity to city & easy to find.
Immediate approach to hotel does not look inviting but belies what is inside, very limited space in shower/wash basin area.
VERY narrow parking. All the cars at the parking were damaged by it. VERY small rooms. VERY dirty iron with a VERY dirty iron board which one can use ONLY in the breakfast room downstairs. VERY unhelpful stuff. Disgusting coffee, yogurt and sausage for breakfast.
