The in-room housekeeping was not satisfactory. While the breakfast was average or better, and room service was available, there was not a coffee shop or restaurant on the premises, and there was no gift shop or a place to buy sundries, papers or magazines. There were complimentary daily newspapers, which was helpful. This is clearly a business hotel where meeting rooms business meetings and conventions are the priority. However, with a little effort it could also be a four star tourist or family hotel.
The front desk staff was courteous and accomodating; they couldn't be more helpful. The location was near the central train station and within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and the Palace of the Popes. The in-room television was able to access channels throughout Europe in Engllish, French and Italian. Parking was available next to the hotel at a reasonable price.
