Очень уютный отель в центре города, рядом с бухтой с яхтами и корабликами - потрясающий вид! Отличное местоположение: рядом со всеми достопримечательностями. Жили на последнем 4м этаже. Номер небольшой. По субботам работает рынок на старой рыночной площади: обязательно нужно посетить и увидеть морепродукты. Повезло попробовать местную клубнику. Парковки своей нет: напротив входа крытый многоуровневый паркинг. Если планируете заезд после 20.00 обязательно получите заранее код двери (но на входе вывешен номер телефона для связи). Рекомендую этот отель на 1-2 ночи: прекрасное соотношение цена-качество.

Нет лифта. Кондиционера нет: в жаркое время, наверное, сложно без него.

Very nice small hotel at the old port of La Rochelle. Very nice and helpful stuff. Clea and comfortable rooms excellent arranged bathrooms.

Location is great - right on the town square. Manager carried our luggage up the stairs for us so we wouldn't have to lug heavy suitcases up stairs (no elevator). Manager was very personable and helpful in orienting us to city. Room was small but adequate.

This is a delightful little hotel which has been renovated this year very tastefullyand with some style. It is well situated for tourist office, transport and shops and restaurants. The rooms are small but comfortable and V. adequate for a short stay. They are also immaculate with clean white towels every day. The breakfast room is charming and the breakfast excellent with fruit juice, fresh fruit, really fresh bread, croissants and brioche, yoghourts and excellent coffee or tea. Staff are most helpful and friendly - carried my case to and from room, gave useful information re restaurants etc.

There are only two drawbacks to this otherwise ideal little hotel. Firstly there is no lift and if you are on the third floor (as I was) it is quite a climb especially if you have any problems. Secondly, and more importantly, it is noisy from the traffic passing on two sides and the various street noises. It is necessary to leave the window open as the small rooms become too hot otherwise. Take your ear-plugs!

The room was clean when we arrived.

During our stay a panel in the bathroom fell from the wall. The panel was some sort of access to wyiring behind the wall. We have a 19 month old son and had he been near this when it happened, it could have been quite serious. As it was, we were all asleep. When made aware of the incident the owner's initial response was to blame us. When requested to clean up the mess and fix the panel, he claimed there was nothing he could do. Eventually he did sweep the floor with a straw brush, however this did not get all the splinters of tile on the floor. When making a point about not wanting to stay in hotel unless the panel was also fixed the solution was to tape the panel back to the wall with two pieces of duct tape leaving broken tile exposed on the panel. When I told him this was not acceptable, he reverted back to there was nothing more he could do. When I went back to the bathroom to take pictures of the damage, I found his stanley knife, blade exposed, left on the floor. When challenged on this, he affectively dismissed it and returned to working on his computer. I then told him we would not be requiring the room and wanted some sort of refund, he refused this also. In the end we left and paid to stay at the Ibis next door.

close to town, great location in small town square across from bakery, tourist centre and only 2 blocks from train station (10 minute walk at most).

Hotel staff spoke no english but was very helpful. Breakfast expensive but typical for france - bakery across the road good place for croissants. Very compact room, nowhere for our luggage! Reception closes at 10pm and out train arrived 10.30pm.

Friendliness of staff. Central location. Shops, restuarants, museums, old harbour all a few steps away.Efficient, sound-reducing double glazing.

Rooms very small, cramped, with no chair or desk/table. No choice of bedding and the duvets were too much in the hot weather. We should have asked for lighter bedding. No air-conditioning. Street lighting made rooms too bright at night and the curtains were too thin. Steep stairs and no lift. No tea-making facilities.

The cleanliness of the room and the Breakfast. We also checked in later after the office was closed. Getting into our room was very easy
