It was reasonably priced, the staff were friendly and it was clean and tidy. Very good for an "in transit" overnight stay.

The hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate so there is nowhere to go. It is next door to a lower standard Balladins hotel which is a bit confusing.

Everything was fine, we were only staying one night late and leaving early so only wanted a basic room and the lady when we arrived helped out and told us all we needed (even though we have little French she was willing to try hard to make sure we understood - Merci!) and the room was clean and had everything we could need and it felt very safe and no complaints at all - even stayed for breakfast which was also fine.

Nothing, had no problems and have nothing to complain about, the only thing would be breakfast included would be nice, but 99euro/family room/night is acceptable but breakfast would make it more acceptable, we did feel it should be included - but a good little place for a short time.

It was a contractors hotel and the rooms are really dated. Fine if you want just a bed for night eith nothing else.

The Restaurant was not open as advertised it would be,however the reception guy was excellent and directed us into Reims for a great meal.

The hotel had everything we needed with a nice restaurant for tea and the facility to have a drink in the comfort of our own room. We simply wanted somewhere to stay to break up the journey and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable night.

Surrounding area

We used this hotel as a stop-over on our way back from Southern France and found it met our requirements perfectly for the price. The rooms are nice and clean with new, comfortable beds. Free access to high-speed internet is a bonus at the price we paid for the night.

Corridors and general atmosphere of the hotel is a bit dated but it is clean and comfortable.

It is a nice basic hotel. The room was small with a big comfortable bed. There were also tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Small room on first floor with no elevator and narrow stairs. Industrial neighborhood with no restaurants but the one in the hotel.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The catering chouces wer very good. We were very appreciative of all that took place.

Basic hotel but comfortable enough for an overnight stop.

Hard to find, badly signposted. And no window or air conditioning - just a patio door which we obviously couldn't leave open whilst we slept (we were on the ground floor) and, as it was a hot night, none of us slept very well because it was too hot.

Wasn't expecting a lot but was better than other reviews...

Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful and spoke English. The hotel and the room had a few scrapes and scratches but it was clean and everything worked fine including the internet which was easy to set up with a code from the front desk. We had a ground floor room at the back of the hotel with a door that opened onto a long backyard. There was a plastic table and chairs so we enjoyed an evening picnic. The double bed filled most of the room so there wasn't much space for anything besides sleeping and using the bathroom, but that was fine because we spent most of the day sightseeing in Reims. The area where it is located is on the outskirts of the city, off the main road in what seemed to be an industrial estate so there is nothing to see nearby but it was quiet at night. Can't comment on the public transport as we drove our car into the city, nor the breakfast as we skipped it. All-in-all, for this price, a great hotel for an overnight stopover or a couple of nights while sightseeing in Reims. We actually booked another night for our trip back north to England (approx. 3 hours from Calais on the toll roads).

We stayed over night on our way through France. It's quite hard to find a room for 4 in most of the cheap 'stop over' chains, so we were pleased we had found one! The room had a double bedroom and separate smaller internal room with bunks for the kids. It was lovely and quite, clean and the resturant had nice food which included a kids menu.

Easy to find with sat nav. But a starnge location behind a residential area, so could be hard to find.

This was a comfortable stay. The hotel has good English speaking staff whom were attentive. Perfectly situated for dropping off the a26 for the nights rest. The price was very good and had a good choice in food and beverages.

It was satisfactory for the price.

Less than 5 minutes from the motorway,a perfect overnight stop.

The toilet in our room had been used prior to our arrival and was in a very unpleasant state. When we reported it to the desk clerk he rushed to get a sponge,( nothing else!) to clean it. The staff seemed to be struggling to cope in the restaurant. We were surprised to find that the hotel was still branded Campanile; we went to the Balladins next door but were sent to the (old) Campanile. We shall give the Balladins a wide berth in future as they seem to have taken over the worst Campaniles which desperately need refurbishment.

it is convenient, friendly and good value with an on-site restaurant. Good proximity to the autoroute.

Comfortable, clean, within easy reach of the autoroute and of the centre of Reims by car.

It would have been helpful to have been informed that the Balladins is now the Campanile hotel next door. We arrived mid-afternoon to find the doors locked at the Balladins and a notice saying they would reopen at 5.30pm, so had to go away and return later. On our return we were told that the Balladins is now the Campanile to which, had we known, we could have gone when we first arrived.

The staff were kind & friendly

I needed a twin room with disabled facilities I.E. a grab rail in the shower. I didn't get such a room so was unable to take a shower. The hotel advertised free wifi, but this did not work.
