Great central location, excellent value for money and very helpful owner/staff. Water temperature a bit unpredictable in shower - but only a minor point. |

Central position Had t wait a couple of hours for a recptionist when we arrived! Bathroom door (concertina style) falling apart. Shower useless - couldn't fit shower head onto wall. Water far too hot. Worst was the clock bells every quarter of an hour (very close) and the noisy pigeons. |

The Staff were very pleasant and the room was comfortable for our requirements as a family of four. The hotel decor is a little dated, but was very clean. |

The staff were very helpful and the hotel clean & comfortable. A typical small family run hotel. Our room was fairly small compared to other doubles but believe this was because they had given access to small room with bunks for our children so we were all together. The ensuite needed some attention in both rooms, mainly updating. |

A pleasant welcome and a tisane on late arrival with brioche was very welcome too. The bed was uncomfortable, the room didn't smell good - maybe stale cigarettes masked by air freshener. Lighting poor. Bath fittings poor. Downstairs was okay. |

This was an Amazing hotel for an amazing price! Danielle was the friendliest hotel staff person that we have met on any trip we have ever taken! The room was quiet except for some pigeons cooing and the occasional church bell in the distance. Spotlessly clean. Well decorated. The reviews regarding the church bell? Are you kidding? There IS nothing for anyone not to like about this hotel. The location, the decor, the staff, the town, the furnishings are all perfect! |

The hotel was perfect. It was in a beautiful town and very well located close to shops and the castle. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and super friendly. The room was excellent, very clean and cozy. Our family of 5 stayed in the quadruplet's room and we were all comfortable. |

We arrived late and the desk manager called a friend down the street to ask her to keep the restaurant open so that we could eat! The entire hotel staff was very friendly! The hotel was difficult to find, but the local police actually had us follow them to the hotel. We enjoy staying in local hotels to get the flavor of the area. |

Our restored 19th century hotel stands right in the heart of the ancient citadel of Duché de Bretagne. |
The hotel Normandie located at Saint James, charming small town between Avranches and Fougères, at only 20 minutes of the Mont Saint Michel, accommodates you in a simple and cordial area. |
