Every thing was perfect. Wooded floors no noise from other rooms or street. Safe and lovely neighborhood. Every staff welcoming. Quality of service superb. Beautiful entrance wouldn't want to stay elsewhere visiting Paris again. You pay a little more but you get a lot more for it.... thank you!
Everything Location, Staff, service, room service quality, cleanliness
Great interior deco and design. Friendly staff
For a 5 star, disappointing size of room, incomplete renovation, room inadequate supplied for a 5 star. Noise during renovation of other rooms during weekend. Reception did not pick up phone. As many hotels, bath rooms not designed to facilitate the needs of women ie lights, mirrors, space for make up etc...
The Style of the Hotel was good. The Evening Meal Staff were great. Evening meal was fair value and the drinks/cocktails affordable.
The Metro runs directly under the hotel, and even on the second floor the noise and vibration of the metro could be felt. The breakfast staff were sometimes unhelpful, and you generally had to go and find a member of staff to get what you wanted.
Rooms were very dark and quite small
Nice hotel, stunning lobby with great finishes. Staff had great Grasp of English and helpful.
Room was quite expensive (suite) and we really hoped for something really special to justify that expense.
The entrance and lobby are spectacular and different (the building used to be a bank). The decoration of the rooms is also very nice
The rooms are very small (I had a junior suite which would have been a normal single room in other hotels) The staff was numerous but the service slow
Awesome place and location Great Staff
The rat in the bar The bright lights in the room, ie air con green light.
location, design,not crowded
The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the Opera Garnier, Place Vendome, the Louvre etc.
The room is on the small side. There are no drawers provided and everything is visible through the glass panels on the wardrobe. The room has a bath fitted with a shower head and not an independent walk-in shower. The flow from the shower head is weak. The corridors are dimly lit. I could not find any in-room temperature control.
The feeling of being ripped off. Pretentious staff. Poor service
Service was great and fast. Staff were really nice and helpful. Great for designers to stay. Interior and Room Decoration was magnificent.
the breakfast the value for money no view
Friendly staff Big discount (which is why I stayed)
Small rooms Dark Overpriced breakfast Spa and fitness are poor
I'v to say this is a very nice hotel in Paris, the nice location with very friendly staffs as well as hotel itsself. The room rate I paid is quite valuable,I'm not sure if it is just a promotion price. With this room rate,I'm sure this will be the best chioce in paris.
The staff was very helpful and gracious, especially the later evening head waiter and assistant in the Bar. I was very happy with our stay at Banke. Very nice to be close to the Galeries Lafayette, Metro, and Gare Lazare.
I had requested two single beds, as I was travelling with my grandson, 16. We found the base of the bed to be a one-size, but the porter moved the top beds apart somewhat, and we placed all the pillows in between. Not ideal, but we managed. It seems the hotel could be able to arrange some rooms with two single beds, apart, for just this type of situation....
The location, clean, design and staff were good,
Noisy, recommend not to stay in first floor, value of the rooms is high and they don’t allow kids even below 4 years without extra payment, you will be forced to pay for and book suits with one bed in ground level, means I was with my wife 2 children (3 & 7 years old) I paid more money for 2 floor level room, I slept in the ground single bed and the kids stayed with their mum in the top
The shower collapsed all the bathroom with water... it has a glass as a courtain, and it let the water from the shower spill into the floor
Only one reception girl appeared professional and helpful, all the rest of staffs really need good training. This place is not well managed
large and nice shower
bathroom had lights but shower recess didn't so no shower could be had a night. the room was very poor. In general the whole hotels lighting was very poor. We were upgraded from a superior double room to an executive double room, however the wardrobe was only tall enough for men's attire, and not women's dresses, and the sofa shown in your photographs was in fact one chair. The general restaurant was closed during our stay (August) which was not mentioned on booking.
Helpful staff Imposing reception Reasonably close to Gare du Nord
Poor lighting throughout Decor an acquired taste!
