My daughter & I had the most wonderful stay in Paris at the Ibis. It is located within walking distance of most icons and very close to the subway system. Our room was most comfortable and very clean. The staff were friendly and most helpful. It was perfect that we had wifi in our room which is just expected for travellers but not always available. The Ibis wifi never faultered and we missed it at other places of accommodation on our travels from Australia. The buffet breakfast was plentiful offering much choice for international guests. We highly recommend the Ibis as the perfect accommodation in Paris,
We stayed for 5 nights and would have loved to have had a refrigerator in our room along with coffee and tea making facilities as we have been accustomed to this in Australian hotels. However, good coffees were available at reception!
So clean you could eat of the floor in the downstairs toilet and everywhere was the same Staff were really lovely and breakfast all you needed and very good value
Parking (with extra charge though) Late check-in
Cleaners knocked on the door at 0900am and entered because we didn't answer (we were sleeping) At 0930am construction works started on the floor below us and woke us up and nobody had let us know of that In the end at least we got the parking charge refunded. Bad experience
Basic but good value for money
You need to register for Wifi everytime you use it rather than just once.
Clean room. Close to Metro and close to some good restaurants. Far from touristic place.
Poor customer service except the manager, the other are rude and dont like to help. The guy that works in late mornings is the worst. No breakfast incl.
We had a room to the back and it was absolutely quiet. We liked sitting in the garden and have a drink when we came back from sightseeing at night.
We missed a facility to prepare tea or coffee and would have appreciated a minibar in the room.
everything worked...close to the metro. cafes , restaurants, malls just close.
nothing to complaint, we have one double bed and sofa bed in two separate room, very clean, and staff recommend the restaurant nearby, the price in Paris is value for money
in general i like the hotel
When we leave to airport i booked a taxi from the hotel,we agree on 60 euros to charles de gaule airport. i asked him if he knew which the emirates airlines terminal is he told me 2 times it is terminal one and he dropped us there however it turned out to be terminal 2c.i should have checked it i know but he should not comment on it also if he did not know.
I really liked the fact that the staff were so friendly and willing to help. I also found the location to be perfect!
I did not like the wifi connectivity; it was very poor. I also think that we payed a little much for the room we got.
The room was fairly newly painted & decorated. Very clean. During the day it was relatively quiet. We really liked the proximity to shops, resturants, taxis, metro - on a fine day, even a nice walk to the Seine.
The room we had was on the 7th floor. The top floor. It was divided into two levels. Upper - queen bed, lower two singles. The climb on a narrow staircase to bed was tiresome. Also, we were close to the lift motors. Until after midnight it was noisy from lift equipment.
Breakfast was excellent! Thank you, we will come back ;-)
Good location, close to a Metro station and walking distance to Place de la Bastille. Many restaurants and bakeries in the area. Our room for 4 was on 2 levels. The whole hotel was tidy and the room was modern and new. Bathroom was fresh and clean. Enough space for your clothes 8on the upper floor) Absolutely worth the money (134 €/night).
The room was rather small, the stairs to the upper section was narrow. We found that cosy but others might find it inconvinient.
Great location for accessing metro.
the hotel is comfortable, all basic facilities are included. Hotel is near with Metro Station (line 8), about 5 minutes walk. Near by hotel have pub, restaurant and grocery shops. Very convenience
the room is not big for 4 people, but it's not a big problem as it's really comfortable.
Stuff was good
The room was very small
Staff were so friendly and helpful.everything was spotless!!
Rooms are very small.
The hotel is located just a 5 min walk to Ledru-Rollins metro station, and 10 min walk to Bastille monument. Many restaurants and bakeries in the area. Old but quiet and safe neighborhood. The family room has two levels, with a full-size bed at the top level. Each level had flat TV screens, and there was free wifi.
Breakfast was not included in the hotel rate and was a little pricey (12 euros per person). Bakeries and cafes around the neighborhood or in central Paris may offer better, more affordable breakfasts. The room was too small for a family of four adults, with very little space to move around. The stairs to the second level were very narrow and low, and posed a high risk for mild head injuries (which one member of my family sustained)
The room was very comfortable and very clean.
Breakfast. We came down at 9:30 and most of the food had gone.
Good location; close to a Metro station, to the city center, or to just walk around the Bastille area.
The room for 3 people is very small and crowded. Breakfast for €9.50 doesn't have a lot of selection.
The position of the hotel, cleanness, I bought a single room but had double bed and they accepted my 8 yo kid without any problem or extra money, nice breakfast room with a terrasse, my room was towards the back yard and it was very quiet, a mini market just around the corner, rather good wifi signal compared to other Paris hotels I've been in
poor breakfast, I mean i am not picky but it was really the same thing every day and one didn't have many possibilities to chose from, small room but it's what to be expected in Paris, the irritating fact that the elevator didn't go up without the room card-key, noisy A/C, only French channels on TV and no cartoons or sports among them
Parking was underground and next door to the hotel entrance. Although it cost 17€ per night we were pleased to pay this for peace of mind. Stayed here on our way South. Good spot for a stopover. Close to Bastille.
Neighbourhood a little noisy until the early hours, but with windows closed this was no problem.
