The location was very good, the staff very friendly & helpfull. The rooms were modern & clean. If we get back to Paris we'd quite happily stay there again & would recomend it too others. Somebody who'd occupied the room previously had smoked there and as a non smoker I smelt it immediately and didn't like it.

The Hotel was as described. That means a lot. No hidden downside surprises. Reception and night staff efficient. One of them, a male, friendly and conversational with anecdotes and real hospitality skills. Not overcrowded, beautifully located, bright and immaculately clean décor. Everything worked. On street room 4th floor well insulated against traffic noise. If you want to avoid using air conditioning, leave the window open just a little for fresh air.

Booked this hotel and had very little expectations – was surprised : although it was Easter week-and and the city was fool –I was aloud to choose my room :a service man showed me 3 rooms and gave me the chance to pick. Do not get rooms of type 01 (101, 201,301….) as they are behind the elevator –ask for room type 07 "cote cour" –more spacious , into the back yard, and therefore more quite. No need to take the breakfast –you are surrounded by many cafés and restaurants. Room was very clean ,amazingly spacious (not all the rooms I have seen were likr that) bath was well equipped - and the location is ideal. You have excellent bus service and the metro is 100 meters –and yet it is a side St. Elevator –as in many Paris hotel –is rather small. If you look for lobby life –not in this hotel You enter the main door –and you climb to your room –no other option. When hotel is full –you may be disturbed by you next door guests –walls are thin.

Though it was slightly difficult locating the hotel owing to the renovation work there were no signages. Though small, but the rooms were quite functional, what truly stands out is the location of the hotel, close to the opera and metro and quite a few monuments makes this hotel a great value for money. The person at the reception asked us to book a airport transfer just a day in advance when checked 3 days in advance only to find out later that the transfers for the specific day were all booked and we should have booked it in advance!!!

The staff was courteous, helpful, as well as bilingual. The location is close to great shops during the day, an assortment of restaurants at night, the Place des Vosges, and the Bastille Metro. Room design is calming after a day in the busy city. The 6 foot high concrete beams that support the ceilings in the dimly lit hallways were a nice surprise for this 6 foot-6 inch traveler. Apparently the construction of this building was originally done in an era of tiny architects.

Location, staff, breakfast We didnt know the hotel was renovating. It didnt harm the trip but would be good a discount for that or maybe a free breakfast to compensate because would be good to take pictures of the hotel.

Well the hotel is located in nice area it was quiet at night but there was some noise to be heard from the corridor mainly in a morning breakfast was good it did cost 13 € which is a bit much for what it was we had it once because we were to lazy to go anywhere and had it served to our room :) otherwise would advise to go to cafés near to the hotel there is plenty and most are nice and a lot cheaper lots of restaurants round to very convenient for the metro and about 10 min walk to Cathédrale Notre Dame and 5 min from there toMusée du Louvre and its such a nice walk down Boulevard Saint-Germain :) definatle would stay there again and will do in a summer next year :) It was quite warm despite the time of the year and the air-con did not work in the room not much of a problem as we just opened the window the view was not great but who goes to Paris to see it from a hotel room

Breakfast time is excellent from morning 7:00 to 10:30, so you have no worry or rush in the morning, we do enjoy the breakfast there. Though we know the hotel room in Paris is very limited space, this hotel room rarely small, we need to figure out how to put our laggage into the room and make space to walk through. EUR175 per night should include breakfast as well.

We liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. The room was silent. The pillows were synthetic and very uncomfortable. There was a smell of mold in the bathroom.

Most Paris rooms are small but this was comfortable and the bathroom had everything, was well designed with big fluffy towels. A pleasure. It was also looking over the interior courtyard so was totally quiet and we were able to sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was basic but redeemed by bowls of fresh fruit including peaches. Reception staff spoke good English and were pleasant and helpful. The service at breakfast was almost non existent. Had to go looking for someone to give me coffee. Cappuccino in a coffee pot???

Pleasant staff, great location. The rooms were set up for a convenient stay and had some extra ammenities like a really good makeup mirror, good reading lights (rare in France) and even a clothes steamer. We felt that it was a good value, although the public areas weren't too appealing. Public areas weren't as nice as the room. Would have loved an iron in the room

Courteous staff, and just steps from Bastille. The room was small, but clean, comfortable, and VERY quiet. I think they went to some trouble to soundproof the walls.

Great location. Very comfortable room. Bathroom was great especially. Good view of the street, but also good soundproofing with windows closed. It was also a well managed hotel, very clean, good service, and friendly staff. We would stay again if returning to Paris.

The reception staff were particularly friendly and welcoming. Since we arrived before the allocated check in time we did not expect a room to be ready but the receptionist offered us a room, or the choice of waiting for a larger room... How often do you get that.

Good value for the price in Paris with great access to the Marais. Nothing particularly special, but nothing wrong either. Would stay there again.
