Considering the rate, they could upgrade the elevator and the bathrooms. I have stayed in the hotel many times and like it for its location and its staff. There are upgrades from year to year. They are certainly trying. They have upgraded the bathrooms several times but the bathrooms are still not up to American standards. |

Excellent location close to the Bastille and Place des Vosges. Clean room and bathroom. Good views out of the front rooms, but with double glazing to keep the noise out. The door was thin and the halls were noisy in the mornings. A construction crew started replacing fixtures in the halls at 8am. |

One of the better hotels in Paris. A bit pricey but definitely worth it since most other hotels are overpriced and filthy. |

I felt that the staff was responsive and friendly. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are excellent. Plenty of hot water and comfortable baths. The location of this hotel is ideal for anyone who enjoys walking as well as taking buses and metros. Lots of really great small restaurants and interesting shops in the immediate neighborhood. We were very satisfied with our stay here. I have no strong dislikes to record. There are things that are good to know about this hotel. It is on a busy street corner and although the windows are double paned, on weekends and holidays, it can be noisy. |

The location was excellent, friendly staff, rooms were cleaned to a high standard.Excellent restaurant on the door step, metro close and pleanty of shops and cafe's close- Really have nothing bad to say - we would stay again and reccommend. Fab!! |

The hotel is conveniently located near Bastille metro station, which has at least three metro lines passing through. The hotel staff were also very friendly, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasurable. Our hotel room was very clean and there was quite a lot of space to move and put our luggage, which is rather unusual in Paris. The Paris marathon was on when we tried to sleep in on Sunday morning, which caused quite some noise in the streets, which even the double glazing could not stop. But then again, this is a one-off. And this is Paris, so we're not complaining. |

this hotel is wonderfully placed for being able to walk to most of Paris's highlights but even so is about 50 paces from bastille metro...surrounded by restaurants bars and in the heart of the maurais district i would recommend it to anyone as a wonderful base for a parisian visit...staff were friendly and maid service excellent..room was smallish but ample for a city visit.. |

Location, quiet, clean The room was very small - for the price (exchange rate did slide by about 20% between booking and having to pay). I think you can get somewhere just as good for less, although there was nothing wrong with the hotel. |
