Location given the value for money Not a complaint but if the hotel on site clothes washer / drier that would have made it perfect.

Though it was slightly difficult locating the hotel owing to the renovation work there were no signages. Though small, but the rooms were quite functional, what truly stands out is the location of the hotel, close to the opera and metro and quite a few monuments makes this hotel a great value for money. The person at the reception asked us to book a airport transfer just a day in advance when checked 3 days in advance only to find out later that the transfers for the specific day were all booked and we should have booked it in advance!!!

The staff was courteous, helpful, as well as bilingual. The location is close to great shops during the day, an assortment of restaurants at night, the Place des Vosges, and the Bastille Metro. Room design is calming after a day in the busy city. The 6 foot high concrete beams that support the ceilings in the dimly lit hallways were a nice surprise for this 6 foot-6 inch traveler. Apparently the construction of this building was originally done in an era of tiny architects.

Comfortable and friendly. Staff helpful. Wewould have preferred to have known that there would be scaffording around our room and therefore we could not have natural light and that there would be men working outside our windows on Saturday. This would have made us choose a different hotel.

You will read in many reviews about its ideal location, and that is the truth. Situated in a safe and charming area, it is a few steps away from the metro making it easy to get to and safer to stay out later than in other areas. I was also impressed by its cleanliness, which I would rate as 4 star rather than 3. Overall, it is a great place to stay when you want to visit Paris for a few days. Oh, the only thing worth mentioning is that it is under renovation, so you have no views out of your window as it is covered for the works, but I don't remember getting disturbed from any of the renovation works...

Well the hotel is located in nice area it was quiet at night but there was some noise to be heard from the corridor mainly in a morning breakfast was good it did cost 13 € which is a bit much for what it was we had it once because we were to lazy to go anywhere and had it served to our room :) otherwise would advise to go to cafés near to the hotel there is plenty and most are nice and a lot cheaper lots of restaurants round to very convenient for the metro and about 10 min walk to Cathédrale Notre Dame and 5 min from there toMusée du Louvre and its such a nice walk down Boulevard Saint-Germain :) definatle would stay there again and will do in a summer next year :) It was quite warm despite the time of the year and the air-con did not work in the room not much of a problem as we just opened the window the view was not great but who goes to Paris to see it from a hotel room

Location was great. The only issue is that we did not know that they were renovating the outside of the hotel so there was a tremendous amount of noise earlyin the morning from the workers and all the windows were covered so there was no air at all coming into the room. They should have advised and offered a discount on the room given those circumstances.

Breakfast time is excellent from morning 7:00 to 10:30, so you have no worry or rush in the morning, we do enjoy the breakfast there. Though we know the hotel room in Paris is very limited space, this hotel room rarely small, we need to figure out how to put our laggage into the room and make space to walk through. EUR175 per night should include breakfast as well.

We liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. The room was silent. The pillows were synthetic and very uncomfortable. There was a smell of mold in the bathroom.

This was a repeat booking as we like the location ,close to good restaurants and the metro. We had a large room by Paris standards and this was very satisfactory. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast very adequate. In all we found this a very satisfactory medium range hotel and we would certainly use it again. The centrally controlled airconditioning left no room for personal adjustment.

I loved the location of the hotel. The beds were wonderful. For Europe and this price point it was wonderful. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Not enough towels in the bathroom. We needed more than 2 bath towels.

The room had a very nice size. The location in the quiet street but at walking distance of all the main attraction was superb. The Air Conditioner was very quiet and work very well. Also the fridge/mini bar did not make any noise. A nice bathroom and a separate toilet and a good bed just made the room so pleasant. The doors to the hallway are not soundproof, other guests did not make an effort to close their doors silently, but just let them slam close by the automatic closing mechanism.

“Perfectly situated in central Paris for visiting the 'sights'. The duplex room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with coffee & tea- making facilities. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and were always cheerful and welcoming. Breakfast in the delightful cellar was excellent. ” Carole, Sompt |
