Small rooms, elevator out of service (good luck carrying those bags if you are on the fifth floor)

Safe neighborhood, close to metro and museums, helpful staff, everything that really mattered was great, very minor negatives below.

While the neighborhood was safe, we were in a predominantly Asian restaurant and store area which isn't my favorite food type, but everything was clean and safe and that was tho bottom line for me. Room was smaller than in photo but fine for the three of us though the lack of air conditioning made for some hot night's, though once again we knew going in there was no a.c..

The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're not picky about room sizes.. I'd say the room was cozy and the big windows helped!! the bedsheets were clean. THANK GOD!!! Internet was fast enough for my purpose. Location wise.. perfect if you like walking around to see some part of the city. Louvre Museum was very close and Musee D'orsay and the lovers bridge was also within walking distance.

Not much choice of breakfast but it was ok to start the day Heater wasnt working so well, as a person from a warm country.. 15 degree was too cold for me.. :(

I loved the location. The room was spacious specially for Paris standards. The staff is great; they speak English fluently, are very helpful and friendly. It is a good value for your money.

Lack of A/C for hot days/nights, they do provide a fan.

I was very well recived by David at night, who gave me good ideas to have delicious meals. I'll come back for sure! The breakfast is good and the bed and bathroom are awesome. 5min walking to Louvre!

    Nothing. All was perfect.

I knew before I arrived at the hotel to expect a room that would be small and outdated. I can tolerate that because it's Europe. But what I can't tolerate or understand is why the bathroom showers have mold and mildew growing in them. I don't mind paying for small and outdated but when I'm paying over 500€ for two nights in a crummy hotel I think I should be able to expect a shower with no mold and mildew. That is why I will never stay here again or ever recommend it to a friend or stranger. Clean the mildew!!! That is unacceptable, period!

Location was great, and the friendly staff all spoke English well. When we checked in we were given maps. The rooms were very comfortable, with a lot of light. Our room had a small balcony and was split over two levels. I would definitely return here, and recommend it to a friend.

The hotel was beginning to show its age a bit. I did not feel dirty, it could just use a fresh coat of paint in some places.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Could leave our luggage after checking out. Perfect English.

Rooms a bit small. Breakfast rather disappointing and expensive.

A glass and an opener were not in the room, though they should have been. We asked for an opener, which was going to be delivered. But was never delivered. Someone opened before me the perrier bottle and filled it with water from the crane without gas. My remark on that seemed not important.

    The Staff and the location

The facilities were non-existent for the price paid. No toiletries were kept in the room and breakfast was very basic served in the basement. I would not recommend this hotel for business or leisure trip.

Availability of fan in the room as it was very hot for October. Family run hotel with friendly efficient and helpful staff.

It was a bit noisy at night if the windows were open. There seemed to be quite a noisy bar or party happening nearby till 2am!

The staff were wonderfully helpful. The location was perfect for us, I've never stayed so close to the center of Paris before.

The "fittings" of the room were a bit warn and even though it was split level, there wasn't a lot of space. The stairs creaked and made a lot of noise so it was impossible to have some people (e.g. light sleepers) keep sleeping in the triple and others wake up.

This little hotel is a gem. The location is great, right near the Tuilleries and not far at all to the Louvre .In the opposite direction is Printemps and Galaries Lafayette. I was so please with the room, sure in Paris everywhere you stay will be a small room, especially if you're a solo traveller... But after a day of walking around all you want is a bed. The bed was so so comfortable, again a nice surprise as usually a queen is two singles pushed together, here is the proper mattress and even the linen was nice. The staff at the entrance we very lovely and helpful with any questions I had. Will stay here again for sure.

If I have to say anything, I lucked out with the upstairs neighbour... Talking through the night and walking around. Either that or there's a ghost on the top floor?

Clean and quiet room and excellent value. Delightful staff.

In great heat the lack of aircon was a problem. The breakfast was minimalist and could be improved.

Madame was kind and spoke excellent English. We had a 6th floor room with a balcony so had benefit of a view. Good shower room and small air conditioning unit.

No fruit or cheese for breakfast.
