Excellent central location, good breakfast, room fairly simple but clean and comfortable. Internal courtyard and staircase lovely. Would stay there again. No - everything was fine. |

Superb and interesting building with history, well presented Trip spoiled by total absence of "hot" water. Mentioned to staff at around 517 hours but they said it was "technical" and although very polite could offer no suggestion - perhaps it would be hot later - althought this said it should be hot 24/7. The tepid termperature remained the same throughout our stay - far too cold for a bath, only just hot enough for shower. For a three star hotel this is completely unacceptable. Bar prices were ridiculous - 5 eurors for a small beer. A shame, becuase it is a really nice hotel with nice staff - I would probably not stay again unless I knew that the hot water issue had been addressed. The ibis we stayed in in Toulouse did not have this problem - a 3 star hotel should be better than an ibis! |

Proximity to old town of Nimes and fabulous staircase within hotel. Comfortable rooms. Charged for coffee facilities, broken shower and dirty non-working extractor fan. |

Good proximity to shops, restaurants and major tourist attractions. Attractive inner courtyard area. The rooms vary in size and standard, and the quality of fixtures and fittings are inconsistent - fancy basins and taps but cheap beds and scruffy furniture. The service lacked warmth and prefessionalism, with staff appearing inexperienced and unenthusiastic. Some travellers may feel uncomfortable in this location, particularly at night, as the street is at the back of the shopping centre and is run down. |

The hotel was clean and well-placed for sight seeing. The staff were frindly and helpful. The central courtyard makes a very pleasant brekfast area. I found it a very good place for a short city break. |

The general ambience of the building - particularly the courtyard and Renaissance staircase. The hotel is also well situated within the old town, close to mouments, shops and restaurants |

It was a beautiful building and the staff were polite. The room was not cleaned very well and there were toenail clippings in the bath. I had to ask for towels as there were none in the room and when they arrived, two of them were dirty. |

Value for money is acceptable level. They first provided a stinky smoking room, although we booked non-smoking room (while they agreed to change the room after our claim). Safe box in the room was not functioning. |

Behind simple street wall, we found a hotel with an intimate sphere and absolutely cute furniture. We were attracted by genuine and creative use of room furniture and intelligent use of the space (toilet & bathroom separate), the height of the room and the beautiful hotel hall & stairway. It gave us the impression to be swept back in ancient times (the hallway is classified). It was marvellous to have breakfast down at the magnificent stairs. Very romantic surroundings. |

Hotel in the town centre, but difficult to park. Lovely old building. Hotel did not live up to our expectations from reviews. Our room was very small, not very attractive.....and just outside our room there was a heavy door which banged so hard all night that our bed actualy shook! My husband had to prop it open in order to sleep. |

The hotel was quite stylish in the public areas, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The thing that spoiled our stay as the fact that the air conditioning either was'nt working or was not available and the room as extremely hot during the night. Opened the windows and the noise from the street as very disturbing, people shouting, horns peeping, traffic, the street seems to come alive over night. |

Friendly and helpful staff, great location for central nimes and beautiful courtyard in the centre of the hotel for breakfast in the sun! Very well presented and good value for money. The only very small grumble I can think of is that there wasn't an iron/ironing board available to use in the hotel so we wore creased clothes for the entirety of our stay! |
