Bayard Bellecour  

Really nice looking hotel Almost all facilities expected in a 3 star hotel. Great location in the center of Lyon. I'm not used to leave reviews but this hotel was really great and better than expected.

Extremely spacious, comfortable rooms. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The hotel is in a excellent central location, 5 mins walk over the river from the old town in one direction and 5 mins to the main shopping areas in the other. Small traditional townhouse style, retaining some fabulous character flooring, stairwells and furniture. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Only downside being lack of bar facilities.

I had ever stayed at Bayard before at another room facing the Place Bellecour . It was in classic furnishing and with excellent view , but the room was too old . This time I stayed at a room in modern furnishing , it was so wonderful more than a 3-star hotel I expected . Location , staffs and cleanliness are all excellent . Will sure to stay again .

Reception closing at 11 pm may cause a problem.

Very good location, near all the shops and restaurants, very central, near a lovely square Bellecour, the hotel had a very good private car park near the hotel, there was also a space for unloading the luggage before moving the car to the car park. Rooms were light and airy and a good size with ensuite facilities.

This is not a luxurious hotel. It is a good hotel,properly priced in perfect location,5 minutes walk from rue de marrioners,which is full of restaurents, and the bus for tour if the cityis outside the door and its 10 minutes walk to where you can get a boat trip.

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff, very decent sized room with large en suite. Excellent location for exploring the city.

Each room differently decorated in period style. Delux room with view onto street , very spacious and light filled. Excellent breakfast.

Not airconditioned, noisy with window open.

We had a very pretty room (deluxe no. 22) with a view on place Bellecour. Also very spacious. The location of the hotel is perfect. The windows were well isolated and we weren't bothered by the construction work going on on place Bellecour. There is no a/c but there was a fan in the closet. The staff were very helpful and on the second morning we ordered the breakfast to our room which was really nice. For French standards the breakfast was really good and it's worth to take it if you tend to get up later as it can be quite difficult to find a breakfast place after 10 am.

There is no lift which I personally didn't mind but it can be difficult for others.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was more than correct and the location of the hotel is ideal to discover the city of Lyon. The bathroom was very clean.

There was a lamp cap with feathers above our bed which we removed cautiously since it was white of dust on the top. The building is rather old. A small refreshment of wome rooms might be welcome.

The hotel is very cozy with friendly staff. The room is new with good design. It is also cleaned. The staff are attentive and helpful. It is far better than I have expected. I will certainly recommend Bayard Bellecore to my friends.

Friendly, clean, good location, free wifi, has character.

A bit old, there were a few leaks when it rained heavily, room was cramped.
