The hotel, considering old, is super clean and smells clean
Breakfast not included w the room.
Very good location.
Hotel is not so fresh anymore but good for staying if you are mostly in the city.
Location was brilliant, hotel staff was friendly and supportive. Will choose Hotel Beaugurg for my next trips to Paris.
Staff was so helpful, even made reservations at restaurant for us.
The location was very good, near the Pompidou Centre yet quiet.
We couldn't get into our room (17) trouble with the lock. So were given room 37, rather small and a smell of cigarettes. Good bathroom. No other rooms were available.
Close to the main stations for ease of getting around and in an awesome area for food and just walking around. We would stay there again for sure.
location, 900m to notre-dame
I would like an English speaking station on the tv on CNN which when your trying to relax is not the best of stations I would have thought with so many tourists they would cater for all languages.
Fantastic location. Good sized bed & room. Room decoration full of old world character. You could open windows. Very quiet at night. Staff friendly & helpfull.
No safe. Shower screen channeled water onto bathroom floor. Toilet roll holder in very difficult to reach position. Luggage storage room not locked or luggage tagged. Appreared to be no air conditioning.
next to the Pompidou museum
maybe too small but it is usual in Paris
Older style, lift is small but manageable
Hotel Beaubourg is a good hotel to choose if budget and location are important to you. It is mostly clean, comfortable and well located. The rooms are not overly modern - it is quite old. Instead, the rooms have a French feel, with wallpaper and some French provincial style decor. My room was a little dark but it had a nice window that I could open. There was a small TV (that I didn't use) and a mini bar fridge. My room was generally clean, although it did smell like cigarette smoke and the carpet was stained in places. It could probably do with new carpet. The mattresses are quite firm but this didn't seem to affect my sleep. Hotels in Paris can be quite expensive. Hotel Beaubourg is reasonably priced. They also offer a continental breakfast for about 9.50 Euro. The rooms are small but ok - probably no smaller than many other hotel rooms in Europe. The bathrooms are a good size, modern and make the room feel larger. The lobby area outside rooms is tiny, dark and the lift is also very small. I chose to use the stairs instead, as I was located on a lower level. I found the staff very helpful, even though I didn't speak French. They spoke English very well. When I stayed at the Hotel Beaubourg, I walked down the Rue de Rivoli everyday to get to places. The Rue de Rivoli is one of the main roads. The Louvre is located on the Rue de Rivoli and is about a 20 minute (slow) walk from Hotel Beaubourg. The hotel is also close to The River Seine and Notre Dame. The Hotel de Ville boat ramp on the Seine is about a 15 minute walk from the Hotel Beaubourg. Catch a boat from the Hotel de Ville to travel all the way down to the Eiffel Tower. It's a good way to see Paris. Overall - for price and location, this is a good hotel.
Dark lobby, small lift, very warm in the breakfast area (I stayed during Summer). Cigarette smell in room.
Classic French decor in a fabulous location; friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
Nothing to not like really...TV didn't work properly so they changed it immediately. Bathroom could have had an extractor fan but minor details in an overall excellent experience.
The location can't be beat. It's close to several metro stations, patisseries, shops, and a grocery store, and in the heart of the Marais right across from the Pompidou. The rooms are small but well-appointed and very clean. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was good.
The location, The nice rooms, the helpfull staff
Good location, a walking distance away from several landmarks, metro stations and a RER train stop that will take you from and to the airport easily. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room had been renovated recently and it was in great condition and quiet (with sound proofing). The A/C worked really well, making the room very cool even when it was burning hot outside.
I had some trouble with the WiFi on my phone but my friend had really good connection in the same room, so the problem was most likely related to my phone and not the hotel's connection.
Very clean older hotel and distinct stylie Parisien design/decoration! Our room was comfortable w mixed decor-wise in an older and modern way. Bathroom was big. Location was fantastic - walking distance from the Seine, Notre Dame, Le Louvre and in the Marais district which has great shopping. Two Metro lines are close by. We did not eat breakfast which is offered.
The hallways are a little musty - but that is to be expected in an older hotel.
Great staff, helpful, friendly, engaging.
Nice hotel, great location.
SUPERIOR room looks bigger in pictures but in reality is very small Very poor breakfast
Very happy with everything about the hotel. Awesome location, close to the Pompidou, metro, Marais, etc. Great bed. I did not get the chance to try the breakfast, but that was my choice.
Comfortable and roomy for Paris Nice and helpful staff that spoke English Airconditioner worked well
Some noise from the street in rooms facing the street
For Paris, it's definitely a valuable room-good location（central and close to metro station), spacious room but very good price!
Cute rooms with different themes. Great location, could walk to the louvre. They don't enforce the no smoking thing very well so our floor smelt like smoke, but our rooms always smelt nice and were clean.
There wasn't a door to close for the shower, which let a log of water to be splashed on the floor.
