Hotel Beaucour  

Excellent location. All within walking distance. Car park opposite hotel excellent and safe . Very helpful and friendly staff. Good room. Very clean and quiet. Very good breakfast . Very good value. Very good laundry service.

The one way street , car park , hotel entrance detail could be better explained on your site to make arrival less complicated especially if you have a lot of luggage - as we did due to long trip.

Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We requested a quiet, non-smoking room and received just that. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The room was very large and clean with windows overlooking a pretty courtyard. Breakfast is expensive but there are numerous restaurants around from which to choose. Undercover parking is available down a side street next to the hotel and, as hotel guests, we were charged 8.50E instead of 11.50E per day . The hotel is old but inviting and would recommend it to travellers.

Other than finding it difficult to locate even with a GPS (which is not a complaint) because one has to accept these situations when arriving in a city for the first time, we could not find fault with this hotel.

The location was perfect. We wanted to tour La Petit France - was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Staff was so helpful, multi-lingual too. English, French and German speakers. Concierge service was great! Made a last minute dinner reservation for us the 1st night. The breakfast was varied each day and delicious. The food was fresh and kept well-stocked throughout the buffet serving times. Our room was very clean, the whirlpool bath was working fine. We were not bothered by outdoor noises. The room was well heated, linens fresh. Baby crib was added at no extra charge.

Parking next to the Hotel with possibility to pay lower fares via the Hotel, Free Hot Wine, Decoration very nice, rooms very big, and isolated from noise, staff very welcoming

Very convenient to downtown area and cathedral. The hotel is attractive and european. Parking was close by and easy to work with. Lots of selection of eating facilities close by. English was spoken reasonably well by most of staff. Staff were always very helpful. I would recommend the hotel to others.

Breakfast selection was poor. I have a food allergy (gluten) and there was little available for me to chose from. The room did not seem to be air-conditioned and we had to sleep with the window open and the pigeons made noises outside our window for most of the evening. A drawback! The automatic lighting in the hallways did not always come on and on two occasions we had to walk in the dark to our room and try to insert the key into the door, in the dark.

We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We rented the loft room for my family of four and it was a very large room and unique. Also, the location of the hotel is excellent as it is a short walk to downtown Strasbourg from the hotel.

The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly and kind. The decoration of the hotel is quite relaxing.

The value of the money: for this price I would expect more facilities or the same facilities but for cheaper price.

We loved the hotels location and the rooms were great. The breakfast is super too, all in all a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend it.

The poor bird in the cage - I hate bird prisoners! That you have to pay for the WiFi.It's free in most of Europe!

Hotel was central and once we found the car park which was just across the road from the hotel all was well. Car Park was very cheap thanks to a deal with the hotel, so this was definately a plus. Rooms were spacious, clean and pleasant.

We decided breakfast was too expensive so we ate out which was not a problem as there were lots of cafe's and restaurants. We felt that the hotel was rather over priced.

We thought that the staff were very friendly and efficient. The quality of the breakfasts was excellent, with plenty of choice. The location was superb, only a short walk from the cathedral and city centre. The room was large and quite well equiped.
