The location of the hotel was very good. The rooms were small but clean. The lighting in the room was dim.The presence of a large dog was intimidating to my wife. |

Great location (practically next door to the famous Cour du Corbeau, but half its price), friendly staff, cheap parking right across the street, cosy and romantic atmosphere, including a friendly talking parrot at the reception area. |

It's very quiet, a tram station nearby. It is close to the cathedral but a bit far from "Homme de fer" which is the real center of Strasbourg for me. The "charm" room was confortable but no charm, so I think it was overpriced. Does not have free wifi internet. |

Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Way too expensive for what you get. Disappointing compared to other expensive hotels in other European cities. We had two large rooms on different floors, and neither was impressive--even with jacuzzis in both rooms. |

charming Alsacian setting / proximity to the city centre and key attractions / excellent breakfast / very friendly staff (all of them - bell service, reception and breakfast room) Double bed was actually two twin beds put together - not comfortable for a couple... Also, the room and bathroom (whilst very clean and functional) could do with some sprucing up - they looked a little tired all around. Time to refurbish? |

Good location. Lovely hotel - near the Cathedral and only a short walk to Petite France. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Very nice breakfast, even though it was extra! |

Very centrally located to the old city. Convenient parking. I felt that it was too expensive for the money. The room was small and the rate did not include breakfast. The additional 12 Euro cost for breakfast was outrageous considering that breakfast across the street was 7 Euros and included juice, meat, cheese and bread. |

It was a very comfortable hotel within easy waslking distance of all the main sites in Strasbourg. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly with information regarding the recent incident in the Channel Tunnel as we had travelled by Eurostar and tgv. |

Excellent location, very close to Cathedral and tourist sites. Hotel is nicely decorated in a warm way. There is no place to stop your car and unload your baggage in front of the hotel, you must either stop in the street or climb onto the sidewalk. Parking is not within the hotel premises but not far away in a public parking area. |

We can go sightseeing by walk. This hotel has many steps. Parking is too far from the hotel (about 500 m!?). |

Friendly staff, excellent location and a very attractive inner courtyard. If travelling by car the car park was just opposite so ideal for transporting luggage. |

Thye ambiance of the hotel. The decoration of my room. The 12 Euro breakfast was too expensive and not warranted. |

Set just 250 metres from Strasbourg train station, close to the old town and La Petite France district, the Best Western Monopole Métropole is housed in a lovely 19th-century building. |
Ideally situated in the city centre of Strasbourg, opposite the cathedral and next to the historic district of La Petite France, the Hotel Gutenberg combines modernity and charm. |
The hotel enjoys an exceptional location next to the cathedral and the lovely pedestrianised area of La Petite France. |
The hotel is ideally situated in the city centre along River Ill, close to the cathedral, and welcomes you in a prestigious 19th century building. |
