they said there was wifi-net but the signal was so weak that it was really impossible to connect!!! it is very hard to travel for work without internet connection!!! I wonder if an hotel without wifi can have 4 stars (and cost so much) or not.
The rooms themselves were outdated, which wasn't so bad, but with very limited wifi service in the room it made out stay frustrating and complicated. We had to ask the front desk receptionist for recommendations on restaurants with live music and she sent us to a place that hasn't had live music in 5 years! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
the only thing was they dont accept us dollar i had to pay a high rate commision for money exchange,it was terible.
We booked two rooms and both of them had no air conditioning (It was broke acording to the staff). When we complained the staff suggestions was: "We'll provide a fan and you can open the window!" Rooms a very small and not well cleaned.
Location was good
Some power points we not working. Wi Fi did not work in room. Tiny toilet.
Stuff, Specially Mr. Fransis on the night shift in reception, he was so helpfull and searche a lot of tourism attractions for us. And they changed our room when the AC was poor. The location is very good.
The carpit wasn't clean the bathroom facilities were not enought it kindly, an old hotel.
I liked the central location of the hotel as well as the price to quality ratio. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast at this hotel was better than at another 4-star hotel I had stayed, there was a good selection of food including hot breakfast with tasty ham and scrambled eggs, fried tomatoes with basil, as well as some tasty cheeses, fruit and very tasty cornflakes of several sorts perfectly suited for gurmans. Very good wi-fi connection with fast internet.
The water tap was a bit tricky, if you turn to the blue the water gets warmer, if you turn to the red, it gets colder.
could not use WiFi in our room at all!!
It is a beautiful hotel with easy access to the Metro. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. A few staff members were fantastic and made us feel appreciated.
Room was supposed to have a double bed and a single for a teenager, ended up with a pullout sofa bed which was not comfortable until we placed the mattress directly on the floor for better support. Wifi was free but sporadic. Only breakfast was served in the dining room.
poor wifi, the door man has a poker face, the room has a strange smell.
I like the location very near
The wifi doesnt work old furnuture
- service is excellent - perfect location (walking distance from La Concorde, Tuileries, Louvre etc) - excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity - special brownie points for the receptionists who went out of their way to assist us with various matters - hotel 'cachet' is special especially its restaurant which gives a feeling of being in a real manoir in the heart of Paris
- wifi was erratic - no room service from the hotel itself (they use a third party provider)
If you are a roamer who leaves hotel after breakfast & come back late night , tired and wants to sleep and you want to live in a walking distance of most of things to see in Paris, ONLY then you should stay here
room size, bed size, washroom size, No wi fi , cramped lift, cramped corridor, cramped, cramped & cramped
The only thing i like is the Staff of hotel.
Cramped hotel. Cleaning was not good, little dusty because of carpeted theme, narrow Lift, old /small sizeTV's, toilet is so small, Breakfast is not good, we stay for 4 nights and found the same expired fruit in the buckets for 4 days because no body eat that. Wifi did not work.
The location was great. They were kind enough to allow us an early checkin without extra charge. For Paris, the room was a decent size. All the staff we came in contact with was kind, pleasant and helpful. The hotel kept our bags in storage on the last day for several hours without charge. The hotel was clean and well kept.
The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The bathroom was shabby.
Excellent location. Very helpful staff.
Air conditioning wasn't functioning. A problem during several days of hot humid weather in July.
Location, although it says Champs Élysées, it is about 3 Km from the main shopping areas of Champs élysées.
Bad mannered staff, un-edible very limited breakfast, very pricey, fake star rating, no facilities whatsoever, tiny room, outdated and worn out interior and decor, serious need of renovation. We booked a junior suit considering 2 adults and 2 children, and they gave us their best suit which was 12 sq. mtr. And it was crammed with a queen bed and a sofa bed. Did not have any air con, provided us a pedestal fan in 30 degree... Arrogant and unfriendly staff. Although wifi was included, it never worked during our 3 nights stay irrespective of our repeated reminders. Breakfast was limited to breads, butter, croissants, canned juice and canned fruits. They could not even get us a reasonable cup of tea. Very tiny place with small tables to fit breakfast plates. Smallest lobby for a hotel, the maiden lift had a capacity of 2 people, needed to wait for an empty one every time u need it. Bathroom was seriously stinky and tiny. Towels were old and not clean for a star hotel.
Good location. Staff was helpful.
Air-conditioning was not working in one room. Marginal in another. Weather was warm and humid for the first part of our stay.
location is not too bad, breakfast is ok. service is good. room is big.
no air-con in the room in the summer, very tiny lift and very old furnitures.
The room was not clean. Heavy smell of old smoke. Shower did not work. Stains on the chairs. The staff was not very helpful.
It's situated close to Champs-Élysées and Place de la Concorde.
Bored staff. Old building with unspacious suites. Very slow Wifi.
The hotel is situated next to the Madeleine so it is a perfect place where to stay if you need to be in the very center. The rooms are clean, big enough. Bathroom and toilet are smaller, it was the only weak point. The staff is very friendly and helpful with anything we asked for. It is a good place for your holiday.
The hotel will ask you 22 euros per day for a wi-fi connection.
the location was very good and very good staff
the wifii is very poor and the pathroms in the room are very old and derity
Their location is really good, it is near a metro station, a grocery and bust stop. About 15 minutes walk from the Concorde. Their bathrooms are clean and bright. Their concierge spoke good english and helpful.
The room lighting was a bit too dark for us so it was not easy planning trips in the room. Also the electric outlets are limited in our room.
the price does not fit to the facilities offered by the hotel
