Beaune Hotel  

Excellent hotel, 10 minutes walk to town centre. Friendly, helpful service, fab breakfast, room was small but had the added bonus of an outside patio through some French doors, weather was warm and we spent some time in this peaceful court yard. It is on a main arterial road but sound-proof, secure gates swallow up most of the noise. They seem to have a variety of rooms as there were families (4-6) staying there too. Secure covered parking (suitable for bikes too).

Location is great with ample parking. Set in what looks like a converted barn, it is a lovely place to stay. Stairs are not great for older people, but plenty of downstairs accommodation available. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay close to the central part of Beaune. Dog friendly.

Breakfast isn't great, but you are in Beaune so great food is easy to come by.

Very French. We had a family room which consisted of 2 separate rooms separated by entry and bathroom. Exposed beams and decorated in very old French style. A lovely garden area was just perfect for enjoying a late night bottle of wine on a balmy late summer evening. Very friendly staff who made us feel most welcome. Easy walking distance to the centre of this charming village.

Putting a family room at the top of a steep flight of stairs was not great, and it was right next to a very busy road, so very noisy.

We had two twin rooms. We feel they were certainly overpriced for the quality we got. We have stayed in other hotels across Beaune every year for the past 10 years. The rooms were pokey, stuffy and cramped. No air conditioning. Toilet in one twin room was not functioning. We would never go to this place again.

I stayed with my husband and 3 kids.We had a fab 'appartment'.We had 2 rooms with connecting bathroom.The hotel itself is situated in a courtyard complex with hanging wisteria,safe parking,friendly staff.I Will use again if I am in that area.

The courtyard of the hotel is very quiet and beautiful.

We booked the Hotel at 10 pm for the same night. After I booked the hotel I tried to call the hotel but no answer. We showed up at the Hotel at 11 pm and...no one was there! Some clients opened up the door of the hotel and told us the owner would have not come back for the night! Eventually at around 1 am we found an open room and were able to spend the night in the hotel... The next day the owner was not there, an assistant told us he would have mentioned this "aventure" to the owner. Never go for late booking at this hotel!

Good basic comfortable hotel. Nice breakfast. Not far to walk to the old town.

A little expensive for what it is, but that seems to reflect Beaune hotel prices. It's certainly cheaper than other nearby hotels. The entrance is hard to find the first time, as it's on a busy intersection and not well sign posted. I suggest that you find it first on Google street view if you are arriving by car. Also, the WiFi network is fully open, which is a security risk in a city. There should be a password. Ensure that you know how to use an open connection safely, or ask reception for the adaptor that lets you use an electricity socket for the internet.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location, secure parking, good choice of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Room was quite small and en suite bathroom tiny. Room faced a busy road whereas most others in the hotel overlooked a quiet courtyard.

This was perfect for our needs. It was an overnight stay with our kids while we travelled to the Alps. The room was spacious and usefull with young children. Very nicely located with walking access to Beaune.

There was some outstanding maintenance work required in the rooms such as one of the showevers that was not working and some other minor problems.
