Arrived at hotel 10.30pm for an overnight stay the doorcode worked and key at the reception - thats it, There is no parking outside the hotel you have to park on a open carpark that was in November. The hotel needs a revamp definately, stayed in room 14 decoration v.tired, but clean.Would pay a bit extra in another hotel - did not stay for breakfast so cannot comment . |

Close to ferry terminal Overall appearance very shabby, lots of hanging baskets/troughs outside but all full of very dead flowers and paintwork was sad. Reception also had lots of dead flower arrangements. Bathrooms were very small, alright if you were small. |

The people were lovely. They let me learn to speak French without inhibiting me. I would recommend it to English people who don't speak French or who are a bit embarrassed about not speaking French very well. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice but this is not a big deal, as there are plenty of places you can get a late night drink not far from the hotel. |

Relaxed, no fuss atmosphere, secure at night.Well located for a stroll around nearby seafront and restaurants /cafes of Cherbourg.Breakfast was the original French type, but well served, and the hotel charged fairly for our family ie not per head for each of the small children. Decor is a little tired outside the rooms, but or room was fine and the individual colour schemes were a nice change from the anonymous chain hotel experience. The parking options need to be displayed - as there is minimal parking on the street, some directions to nearby secure parking areas, plus advice re parking charges etc, would be well received.we used the nearby square, but in busy times a visitor would need to have a few options to try. |

The breakfast was fine and the location was central for Cherbourg centre. The room was cramped for 2 plus a baby and it was supposed to be for a family of 4. We weren't convinced that the bedding was clean. The view was horrible and the walls were thin. |

Location was ideal, both close to the ferry and able to walk into the town within 2 mins. The breakfast was satisfactory, but very limited. ONly bread/croissnat. No cereal etc. |

A very pleasant hotel, good location and friendly staff. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cherbourg this is a great hotel, nothing fancy, practical and clean. |

It's got the basic amenities--a good value for what I paid. The part of Cherbourg is also quiet and near the waterfront, so it was in a good location. |

Good location. Nicely decorated room. Very pleasant staff. Very homely breakfast room - simple but very nice breakfast, more than adequate. In general, exceeded expectations for this price level. Noise levels can be a problem - thin room walls. |
