Charming hotel in the heart of Paris, just 394 ft from the Madeleine and a 10-minute walk from the Opera Garnier. It has a 24-hour front desk with a concierge service.

I like the location.
In my booking should have a walking closet and 30 square meter room..But there is no any walking closet , Hotel explain walking closet means more space for clothes storage. Also the room size looks small than 30. Besides central heater is out of order so next day hotel provided a stand electricity heater. So room air circulation is poor. Most staff in is good except one young staff.
We liked the location and rooms.
Wifi ineffective and noisy building works commencing at 8.10am.
Lent us a stroller
Parking system with card failed Spent over 20 minutes trying to get card out of Vinci car park and ended up having to argue with their attendants to leave
Noise during the day due to civil construction works in other rooms
Close to Gard Lazare Very low key & comfortable
- Large rooms compared to other hotels in Paris - Situated in a good neighbourhood - large bathroom
- WIFI was slow and having to register every 5 minutes is VERY user unfriendly (several guests indicated to me they had the same issue, but management indicated I was the only one to lodge a complaint ...) - thin walls, due to which I was woken at 5:00 by screaming kids of a family next door - Expense breakfast of EUR 21! which was not very special at all - Lodged a complaint upon checkout on first 2 issues mentioned above. Still had to pay full price as if I received full quality service. Received an e-mail about the WIFI only, in which they indicated to follow up upon with their supplier. I replied in my mail that I also complained about the noise upon check out after which they indicated they were aware and discussed it with the relevant family ... They just did not border to mention this in their first mail to me. In addition, they indicated that they hope everything will be better next time. Obviously, next time I'll stay somewhere else as there are plenty hotels for a similar price in the area.
Pleasant staff, nice foyer and small but nice bar area . Very central, good restaurants all around.
The bedrooms are tired and need updating
It was our 2nd stay in 12 months, it's a lovely hotel. We like the location, rooms, staff & food. Standards are very high we love staying in this hotel.
Nothing, everything was perfect
poor wifi accessibility
Service in the restaurant
2 bedroom apartment had 2 showers, cozy sitting area. clean and comfortable.walking distance to printemps , Galeries and virtually all the main shopping areas staff was helpful with making dinner reservations, generally knowledgeable
free wifii was almost non existent no coffee and tea making facilities breakfast expensive
No real issues
Location and decor
WIFI very poor
Staff did not care that we had nowhere to park despite pre-booking Hotel was expensive given limited facilities. Not given adjoining rooms as requested
excellent location.good breakfast.
very bad internet connection.
Polite staff, perfect location
Bad wifi performance, uncomfortable bed, mini bar miscalculation
Prior notice that this a was Golden Wedding Anniversary went completely unheeded.
Excellent location within walking distance of many major tourist sites. Also, although it is in a "touristy" neighborhood, we found great places to eat and relax, although be prepared to pay extra. It was worth it.
The Bedford has a great arrangement for connecting rooms for our family and the rooms were very spacious. It is in a good quiet location although a long walk or subway ride to most sites. Some staff members had an attitude evidencing a Parisian dislike of Americans but all were extrememly knowledgeable and most were very helpful.
We flew in and out of Paris and stayed at the Bedford Hotel on both ends of the trip. We had renovated rooms on the first floor during our first stay but for the second stay we were in older unrenovated rooms that smelled a bit musty and were very dated. We were told that renovations were underway through the spring 2015.
Our rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were large and well appointed the beds were huge. The hotel is an older building that has been restored but partly kept the traditional feel. The breakfast room is stunning!
Location excellent with restaurants and bistros close by. A 15 minutes walk takes you to the main shopping avenue. Plenty of restaurants near by but book so as not to be disappointed.
The Hotel room was very disappointing as we expected a triple bedroom but actually given a kings size bed with a camp bed at the end. This made the room very tight for space and comfort. Fine for two no way for three.
- location is good, - staff is not very warm - facilities is not announced, I stayed for three days and had no idea about the facilities of the hotel..
Staff bit un friendly .. they really do not care about your stay .. if all is OK or not, WIFI is useless.. most of the time it does not work. Room size is OK bed is not comfortable
The proximity to the shopping was good.
The beds a flat and uncomfortable. The wifi is none existent and is meant to be really bad so you cannot use it other than with great frustration a second rate french hotel that is stuck up in its own arrogance of a historic time warp.
We came for a quick break before Christmas on our way to the UK. We had an adjoining room with our kids. The rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel meant we were easily able to access all the major tourist attractions and fantastic shopping. We were also close to some very good restaurants and bakeries. Would definately recommend and stay again.
Beds were a little too firm for my liking.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was pleasant, comfortable, clean, spacious, perfect location in the middle of Paris.
For breakfast, you had the choice of buffet @21 euros or Parisian breakfast @13euros but on the first day my partner took one slice of ham but was charged the full breakfast.
