Score from 375 reviews Very good
The staff was excellent, very helpfull and polite. They've upgraded us to a bigger room when they've seen we have a small child. The area is good, the hotel is on a small street where there's no traffic, so yo're not bothered by the street noise.
The rooms are very small and the price is pretty high for the comfort they're offering.
Staff was very helpful location was good not far from metro
Rooms are very small no lift in hotel
Stayed here for two nights, exteninding on from a business trip. Great value for money, location was great. Easy to get into the centre of paris. Staff were helpful. Room was basic, but definitely value for money. Would come again!
Very nice and helpfull staff Nearby Metro station of line 1 Nice bar / cafe just across the street
hard to find a parking place
helpful staff, clean, firm bed, internet worked, great price, near to the metro. Would definitely stay there again.
wifi was terrible
The staff, especially the girl, was so nice and helpful. Well done !
I can´ t understand that in the 21st century a hotel doesn´ t have a lift !
Firstly, the staff, which we encountered first, was very helpful, not only when we arrived at Bel Air, but when we needed information regarding metro traveling and any other problem. Secondly, both facilities and cleanliness were great. From the powerful hair-dryer in the bathroom to the fresh perfume smell and clean room that we found every day when we came back from the city. As for the location, we loved it, mostly for its quietness. The soft and comfortable beds combined with the peaceful neighbourhood made a perfect match concerning the quality of our sleep. Speaking of the price it was convenient regarding what I have just written above.
Mainly, there was nothing to complain about, except maybe the wifi connection whose signal was way too slow in our 2nd floor room. Anyways , we thank you for your kind welcome to your hotel. If we ever find ourselves ever again in Paris, we will choose the Bel Air Hotel with no other thinking.
Location Wi-fi Very clean
Towels a bit old - but still good
Location. Close to two metro stations, very handy for centre of paris. Clean. Good shower.Useful free breakfast.
Plumbing noises carried between rooms. No air con , bit hot but accounts for lower price.
Everything was goid
Most importantly, the room was well isolated, and kept cool / quiet for a good nights sleep each night. The booking was smooth, the staff was accommodating and everything was very professional. We appreciated the fairly priced bottles (super market prices) at the reception, during the hot days.
The breakfast area was awkwardly small, we barely had enough room for a plate + drinks. The shower cover did not cover the entire shower, so we had a very wet bathroom floor each night.
Close to the Metro and easy to find. Staff were lovely! Good price for peak tourist season.
The bathroom was tiny, the walls were paper thin and the staircase was difficult with luggage. The bed was very uncomfortable and there is no in-room air conditioning.
The staff were by far beyond outstanding, they were all very helpful and extremely pleasant.
The wifi connection did not work for me.
It was cheap. The staff were friendly.
The wireless was the worst ever (impossible to use VPN), breakfast was very basic. Generally a low quality establishment which should not have been rate 3 stars.
Rooms are Small
Everything is perfect. Reception is helpful and share a lot of information with us. Facilities is all ready to serve the customers. Location is good, we can sit metro to all around paris. The area is safe to walk at night.
I wish to spend more times in paris
The room which I got was very quite and peaceful. No disturbance from the outside world.
The room was too small. The toilet was not fixed properly.
Great location, helpful staff, large brekfast, later check-out was possible
I asked the doorman to wake me up in the morning and he forgot.
The best part of the room is... the hotel location and wi-fi connection. The staff at the reception were very kind and explained how to register and get the connection; once done, it worked wonderfully well. "Norman Bates in Paris" kind of hotel, recommended to those who like dusty places and eery looking stains in the bath and bedroom.
Although renovated, the room was: - noisy - not clean (visible dust and spider-webs plus dead insects and various stains) - blankets had holes, bed pillows were dirty (I had to sleep using a t-shirt to avoid breathing on those stains) - bathroom had stains (!) - bathroom WC did not look clean
It was clean and tidy and the staff were polite and helpful even if some of them did not speak english very well.
Breakfast was expensive compared to what you get
The staff was excellent, very friendly. There is no elevator, but they will carry your bags up to your room. The room was not as tiny as Paris rooms can get, so I wasn't at all claustrophobic.
The wifi was a bit clunky and caused some problems on my phone.
Friendly staff and clean rooms
Room was a touch small
Friendly and helpful staff, good location,
