The location is ideal. The concierge very resourceful and extremely accommodating. In fact we purchased a museum pass and we then charged for admissions to the Louvre and the concierge hopes to credit the cost to my bill...we had to leave before this happened. The room was small and although I like modern, I missed the very high ceilings and the size of the hotel was larger than I enjoy.

Excellent service equivalent to five star hotels. Hotel room lighting was poor but I would still return and stay at Hotel Bel Ami.

The location is superb! What a tremendous small rooms!! Cannot even turn in there. Apparently I stayed in the standard room at eur 330 per night. Outrageously expense; rather stay in the Scribe....

The hotel was wonderful. I arrived alone on my birthday and everyone there went an extra step to make sure i had a nice birthday (complimentary glasses of champagne at the bar). Everyone I encountered from the front desk to cleaning staff to bartenders were very nice and warm. The rooms were quiet, clean, modern yet cozy. The facilities were excellent. Great location, right next to St Germain metro station and a few steps from 2 other lines. If you're looking for a very "french" feel, you may be disappointed, most everyone staying at the hotel speaks English.

The double door between the hall and bedroom was great for keeping the room quiet. Also the double window did the same for the outside noise. Since there was a bottle of water and sweet on the bedroom table I thought they were complimentary welcome treats (as they are in many other hotels I stay in). If they had been with the other in-room bar items I would not have touched them - especially at 12eur each. So 48eur later, since I had 2 rooms, was painful:)

Location was perfect for great restaurants, sites in an upscale neighborhood. Room was very small...almost to small for two people. We were installed in a room opposite construction which prohibited us from opening the windows or curtains to enjoy city sites and sounds. Staff was friendly except for one snobby front desk person.

The location of the Hotel makes it very accessible to many places nearby and there are supermarket and cafe around. This makes eating out convenient, The hotel staffs are always smiling and willing to assist. Have tpo improve on the buffett breakfast spread as I find it very limited and not so interesting.

The staff and the location were the best thing about this hotel. Both were excellent. I thought it was poor for facilities. At this price you expect the best. There were no in-room tea/coffee making facilities, presumably because they wanted to be able to charge you 7 Euros for a cup of tea with room service. Tired bathroom. Cheap and scanty toiletries. And other touches that you would expect for this price. As far as value for money goes - this hotel is very expensive and you do not get value.

The concierge service was excellent, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, speed of room service good.Loved the location. Suite price was not good value and would not pay that price for that suite again. Other international hotels I have stayed in would have had a larger better standard for the suite.Would stay in normal room type. Please make tea with boiling water! Internet band width could be better.

The most accommodating aspect for me was the ability of the staff to speak English. They anticipated my needs. Transformers were readily available for our US power cords since the one from the states was not compatible. In addition, I requested airport transport from the concierge on the morning of my trip and found the driver to be prompt, informative and pleasant. The accommodations were excellent, clean and comfortable. The ability to open the window and hear the accordion and clarinet music from the street below epitomized the romance of Paris. The tea water for room service was not hot enough on each occasion. Perhaps to serve the water in a pot that keeps the water hot.

The location was amazing, just down the block from Boulevard Saint-Germain, lined with the best shops and famous restaurants, including Les Deux Magots and Cafe de Flore. The service was a bit slow, but that is more characteristic of European service in general than this hotel specifically. They were helpful when asked.

The design, the staff who make each guest feel important. the most amazing concierge's desk who know everything about Paris and go that extra mile to ease one's way into Parisian life style. For me each visit is like going back to my home in Paris. The left bank location has the best of shopping, historical Cafes, the Rue St Pierre close by to wonder at the Antique. stores. The Rue Jacob for wonderous interior fabrics. The St Germaine market and food shops. of course a hop and a skip to the the revamped Bon marche, with its famous food market.

The Location is excellent, the hotel is modern and well kept, the service was good & pleasant. We have booked Supriour room in order to have more space and luxury but the room and the bathroom were very small you have no space to seat or to move around, especially if you are a couple in a room.
