I love the location and the staff. This was my second stay at the Hotel Bel Ami during the past twelve months. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Paris over the years, and I have to say that there's something special about this hotel and its location. The staff is wonderful and can handle just about any request that one might have. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. I have to say that the Hotel Bel Ami is fast becomming one of my favorite hotels in Paris, and I look forward to staying there on my next trip. The rooms are not large. I stayed in the smallest one in November, the rive gauche room, and it was very cramped. On this last trip my wife and I had a superior room, which worked out well for the two of us. I put my Mom and daughter in a junior suite, which was great, but the extra space somes at a much higher price. This being said, I still highly reccomend this hotel. |

Great spot in the 6th. Good Gym facilities. Computer access was offered but in reality was very limited. Both the apples in the foyer were 'not working' and we were sent down to a 'business center' which was a Very Hot little room with a PC in it. |

Very helpful staff, pleasant room, superb location One detailed (but important) suggestion. I think the shower arrangement is a potential hazard. There ought to be a non-slip surface on the base of the bath - there is a distanict danger of slipping and falling on the present surface. |

location is excellent - and (nearly) everything in this case - just around the corner of Cafe Flore in a quiet side street; quiet rooms (double glazing; rather quiet street except nearby school); good bed as prewarned - very small room; fittings of rooms and bathroom not at all up to the rate charged; you pay luxury without feeling luxury - really nothing special; other hotels in the area (Le Six, Recamier) are comparatively less expensive, more special and offer more real friendliness and much better concierge service for e.g. for recommending and reserving tickets for exhibitions; |

The main intrest in hotel bel ami is its location. The best in paris.also the concierge are extremely helpful and connected. I think this hotel is too expensive for what it has to give us. Also the amenities in this price ranhge per night should be much more generous. They only give you amenities if u ask for them as a 2 star hotel would do! |

This was my second stay at the Bel Ami. Last time I had a Rive Gauche room. This time I booked a Superior room. Not a lot of difference in room size to be honest. Nevertheless, still a very good hotel in a first class location. Even though it is directly opposite a school (which can be a bit noisy if you happen to be back in your room during the afternoon), the double glazed windows makes the room silent. The friendly Concierge again looked after all my restaurant reservations and provided good directions. Thoroughly recommended. |
