Friendly and helpful. Clean with excellent shower. Having arrived after the bar closed - coming from the ferry - a coffee machine would have been very welcome.

Very large family room and bathroom. Brightly decorated (but very orange!). Clean. Considering this is not a city centre hotel I thought it was very expensive.

Quiet location + easy car parking. Reception staff welcoming and helpful. Really good family room with flexibility of beds to cater for different ages. Cot was requested for our two year old and was in the room already made up. Good spread for breakfast (£8 a head).

The room was really spacious for three persons, the breakfast was really good. The hotel is OK for one night or if you have childenren and need place. The room had no charm, could not open the door in the night because room was on the ground floor. Nothing is in the near, you need a car.

The owners and the staff are very nice and helpful. The staff were very helpful at giving advise about the area . I did not have a car during my visit to St Malo. The area near the hotel has a good bus network. There is a bus no 4 near Belem Hotel to sncf train station. Sncf has a bus terminal. The train journey to Rennes costs about 15 euros each way. The beach is a walking distance from sncf. I found the availability of a bus in the area a plus. There is a big shopping centre near the hotel. The area is quiet and nice. My little girl enjoyed the walks. Olivia

Belem Hotel was chosen for its location on the route out from St Malo - from that point of view it is easy to get to from the port, but extemely difficult to find - there should be a sign at the last exit from the roundabout. It is perfect for travellers otherwise. The staff were very helpful when I rang to advise them that my arrival would be out of hours owing to delay on the ferry - the receptionist speaks good English. Breakfast good and not expensive. A comfortable hotel, good value for money and good staff.

Great customer service. Our ferry to St Malo was late docking but this small hotel had contacted my wife to arrange access to my booked room after reception had closed. Good value breakfast too.

trying to find it. the map was totally deceptive as it did not show the D2 coming from Chateau Saint-Malo and did not show all the other roads, it looked as though it was in the middle of the countryside when it was in the middle of an industrial estate.
