Score from 914 reviews Very good
Very reasonable place to stay. Close to the old area of town, and a close walk to restaurants. Very soundproofed room - construction right outside the window could not be heard! Good indoor parking.
very good except
the quantity and quality of the towels were below standard in my opinion and if you were driving anything larger than a roller skate the parking in their gargage was an exciting experience.
The upgraded room and the staff.
Stutters on the windows made it a silent nights sleep. There is air con. Very central and car park area to keep your bike in.
Excellent location. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Great breakfast on site.
The best hotel in our trip in France. The rooms are really nice, very new, very comfortable. We visited the city walking from the hotel. We left the car in the parking after 11 a.m., and we didnt pay extra money.
You have to use the parking of the hotel, which is not free. It is imposible to park in the street.
Nice local restauants off the tourist trail.
Building site opposite but no noise as it was August. Off peak rates.
Modern and comfortable, a very clean well run hotel, staff friendly and helpful and the secure basement parking was a great bonus. East walk into the centre of Nantes and all the restaurants, although there were a good few restaurants within yards of the hotel.
Very cleen and modern room. Shower excellent.
Whilst the underground carpark is secure it is an absolute nightmare to get in and out of. Access is by a very narrow doorway plus the angle of the slope will ensure a scrape on the underbody of a car if it has a full passenger load as ours did. Also the floor of the garage has been painted with a gloss floor paint which makes it difficult to brake without slipping when negotiating the sharp narrow turn at the bottom of the slope. Similarly the same problem occurred when leaving the car park when wheel spin is unavoidable when the slope is wet, which occurs every time it rained outside the garage. We only got out by having two men leaning heavily on one front wing over the spinning drive wheel.
The hotel is only a block from the convention center and a bus line, and about a 10 minute walk from the Castle. Not a huge room, but very clean, and a comfortable bed. Very pleasant staff.
the room could have used more than one chair.
They was a nice variety of items at the breakfast.
The front staff person could not help me with the telephone in the room. I needed to make an out of country telephone call but the telephone was not working correctly. He did not know how to correct the problem and suggested I wait until the next day to make the call. Waiting until the next day to call was not an option as the call was for a change in our airplane flight. I suggested he call someone from the hotel who must know what to do in this situation. I never made the call and had to get flight changed by my daughter face timing her boyfriend on her iPhone (which did not have international calling). This was extremely frustrating and stressful as we had already arrived late from our flight and bus ride from Bordeaux.
This was a short walk to the centre of the city. The staff were really helpful. Also a good place for a cycle tourist.
The staff was very friendly.
I am not familiar with the city of Nantes and I was a bit disappointed with the location, it is not as central as I had hoped for.
Close to the cité internationale.
Very modern, great bathroom.
We thought that being right on the river, we would have access to a walkway, etc. It didn't. Everything was a long walk away.
Close to all places of interest in Nantes. Easy to find and close enough to walk into centre. Good sized rooms with most amenities - very clean and a good breakfast. Superb value for money. The staff were all charming and helpful....
Nothing not to like for the money - excellent....
Spacious, clean and comfortable room, a short walk to the castle. Very helpful staff.
Very clean and modern hotel with underground parking. Staff were very helpful regarding info about events and where to eat.
Buffet breakfast was limited.
Excellent WIFI Secure car park available
Hotel was further out of the town than we had thought. It was down by the commercial centre of town. About 10 minute walk to the Chateau and the nearest tram stop.
No sandwishes or beer available evening time in reception.
Location, quiet, staff helpfulness. Value for money. Ease to reach airport, trams etc
Nothing at all to dislike for the money.
10 mins walk from old town.Very friendly helpful staff.well run secure and comfortable budget hotel with modern well kept rooms
Cleanliness 7 hekpfulness of staff
Easy to locate.
Lack of english speaking staff to resolve difficulties, after choosing hotel because english speaking staff was advertised. Would not use this hotel again as an expensive personal item went missing and it is proving to be impossible to resolve the issue for the aforementioned reason.
Excellant room with a good veranda. The breakfast was good, although expensive. The hotel is only a short walk from the old town, which is a real bonus as the old town is well worth a visit. I will be returning to this hotel in the future.
The area is undergoing redevelopement at this time and as a result has a rundown look.
