Personal attention from Madame and her staff. Very friendly welcome from Tim on arrival complete with guided tour. Our golden retriever was also made to feel very welcome throughout our stay with towels provided by the front door. A very relaxing stay.
Peace and seclusion and the feeling we were very welcome. lovely room and caring staff who tried to attend to any of our needs.Great attention to detail .This was our 4th visit and we will return again
No real negatives
Wonderful staff, hotel rooms and 5* star dinner. Really enjoyed our stay
Hot tubs didn't seem to be open
Even though a room with balcony was reserved, we were given a recently built apartment in the garden. When a complain was made to the receptionist, he bluntly informed us that no room in the chateaux was available and price is the same. The point of reserving in a chateaux is to actually stay in it and not in a nearby located apartment. Thus be careful, not to fall in the same trap. For less money nicer and better located chateaus are available in Normandie.
Great view from room, very good food, old fashioned ambiance, public spaces very well decorated (if you like classical).
Room price should include breakfast, which is now expensive at 18 Euro per person.
Amazing food Wonderful hotel with tons of character Staff full of character Beautiful location The food, did I already mention it?!
Quite expensive, all the extras really make it pricey
Great location, restaurant is a huge + food amazing.
Needs some tlc overall
The money we paid and the rooms were dark, paint peeling on doorframes, didn't feel fresh at all, and the price we paid could have got somewhere, ok without character, but with high standards of cleanliness and freshness like a Holiday Inn.
Excellent cuisine -
Excellent staff and service. Outstanding meals. Highly recommend this hotel.
Staff were very friendly, helpful. They helped arrange daily tours, advised on the area. The food and drinks were quite good. The hotel has a lovely garden and full of character. A lot of things to do, biking, hiking, canoeing. Hotel location is excellent to visit whole of Normdandy.
The personal touch of a family owned business . Breakfast was excellent
Breakfast is very poor, no choice at all! Can't be called continental for sure. Spa doesn't exist . It's a service they have from outside. Could not have dinner at 22.30, that's not the case in 4 stars hotels in Paris. People are nice, but everything is very slow....
The hotel is amazing, but the staff excels! Everybody is super friendly and helpful. No comments about the food, just go there and try it...I Am planning to come back next year.
The only minor issue is that one day the sauna was not working well.
The history of the Chateau was interesting. The staff were quite helpful
It is an old building and we were locked in our room for 3 hours while various attempts were made to free us from the jammed door. Our bill for the overnight stay was 800 Euro's! But due to being locked in the room for the three hours our bill was reduced by 18 Euro's !!! I will not be going back and it made a sad end to our trip.
