Apartment is very convenient.

Good location, good service.

The location was excellent, very close to the centre. The courtyard was also very nice and really convenient to park. The room was spotlessly clean.

We booked a comfort double room priced at €104 per night. The photo on the website for this room shows a spacious green room, however we stayed in room 17 on the first floor on the road side. It was an extremely depressing room, very dark blue wallpaper on all the walls and very few lights. I did ask whether we had the correct room as I thought it was a standard double. The receptionist confirmed it was the correct room. When I commented that it was a lot smaller than I imagined and too dark, I was met with a shrug of the shoulders and tough luck, basically. No effort to give us another room was made by her. Beune is a very expensive town, however, I feel this place was overpriced.

Central location

When we arrived, the receptionist placed us in room 2 on the ground floor in the courtyard, with a tiny window and tiny bed, and very dark like hole! When we protested, they transferred us for one night to room 15 on the first floor with 2 single beds and lots of light, but said we had to move back to room 2 the next day. Both rooms were the same price!

The staff are very welcoming and courteous. My dog wasn't a problem for them and they were informative in pointing out the landmarks of the local area.

My only small, negative criticism is that the coffee was not fresh at breakfast. This would certainly not stop me from booking to stay here again.

The location of the Hotel was excellent. Our room was large, with a comfortable bed and a very good bathroom. The tv worked well and had the bbc World channel. We would certainly recommend the room to others.

1. Although recently converted the room was accessed by an outside spiral staircase. We later discovered that there was another staircase which was further away. 2. There was only one small window to the room which meant that there was very little daylight in the room. 3. We were disappointed with the breakfast which consisted of 4 pieces of bread, 2 croissants and 2 small pots of jam for 2 people. More jam was provided when requested. The waitress refused to warm the crossants for us. We later read the small print of the booking which said that other breakfast items were available on request. No mention of this was made at the time. 4. There was a distinct lack of staff during the breakfast period when we waited for ages to pay. 5. On our experience, we would not recommend breakfast

The two people we saw (one was the owner) were both charming, friendly and helpful. They were prepared to let us transfer our reservation of two twin bedrooms to a suite and two further rooms for single occupancy at very reasonable rates. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfasts good. We would certainly return to this hotel if we visited Beaune in the future.

Only possible suggestions would be a little more (central) light in the rooms and a better ventilation of the toilet in the suite.

The building itself was very interesting, used to be a wine merchants house, they have a pretty courtyard and a lot of stained glassed windows. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel bathrooms were outdated and were lacking.

Convieniance to the town center and the wine regions

The hotel is charming, we enjoyed it very much, has a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. I liked the hospitality and amability of the staff and the impecable cleniness of the rooms, also the overal looks, with interior parking and garden, like an old auberge.

the breakfast was a little bit too poor, only bread, croissant and butter with confiture+ coffee/tea, we are normally used with much generous and divers offer. But the lady who served it was so kind, that compensated this little fault.

Location was good, rooms comfortable.

Noise - we had room at front of hotel and was very noisy. Dustmen woke us up at about 5.30 A.M. Very noisy from then on. Better to choose rooms at rear of hotel.
