Hotel Belle Epoque  

The only redeeming value for this hotel was that it was relatively close to the center of Beaune.

The rooms were dark and musty. The staff was abrupt and rude. The quality of the hotel was below what I would consider a three star hotel. And, on top of that, they charged us for two extra nights even though we informed them 72 hours ahead of time that we would be checking out early.

Staff friendly and helpful and car parking excellent right in the courtyard. Room and bathroom immaculate.

Eco lighting in room was a bit low energy so it was not possible to read in bed or at all. Bottles of water in the room would have been appreciated.

Friendly service, nice location, good facilities and reasonably priced.

The television in my room did not appear to work.

We appreciated the hotel's design, staff reception and the proximity of the location for our purposes; wine tasting, city tour ,etc...

We beleive that the prices were slightly high considering the off season period. ( Hotel was chosen for us by our freinds)

Beautiful hotel! Shame we couldn't stay longer!

Tiny thing, would have really appreciated a bottle of water in the rooms (maybe also tea / coffee facilities) in the room. The only other thing was that we weren't able to stay longer!

The location was good, within walking distance of Beaune city center. Spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed.

Room 32 was spacious but lacked any ambiance, mostly due to the lighting and old fashioned sparse furniture.

The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful.

Perfect location for a stay-over when traveling. Family room very convenient. Close to the highway and only a short walk to the city center of Beaune. Closed car-park.

Very hard matresses and poor lighting (energy-saving lamps only...)

We are a family of five (Americans) driving through France. This hotel was easy to find, had great parking, was spacious and large. The lady who checked us in was pleasant and helpful, but the other staff was rude and not helpful in the least. We stayed in a large three bedroom "house". The only thing it lacked was a kitchen to make it a true house. It was close to the downtown area (two minute walk) yet was right off the main road. The breakfast was not worth the money but the parking was so easy. I highly recommend Beaune as a stop and this hotel was perfect for it.

Some of the staff was not helpful.

Unfortunately I was delayed in my journey, and I was particulalry impressed that the staff waited for me and were expecting my arrival.

We booked the Apartment as a group of 4 (2 couples) and it slept us all comfortably in two separate bedrooms (only one bathroom though). The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the downstairs living area was great to relax in.

We stayed at the Hotel Belle Epoque as a group of 4 (2 couples) in Oct 2011. We booked the Apartment which had two bedrooms and a living area in the hope to have more space and a relaxation area where we could eat meals and enjoy eachothers company. The apartment was good but severly lacking in kitchen/dining type facilities that we had expected it to have. There was a mini fridge and a dining table but nothing in the way of cutlery, bowls, glasses and not even an electric kettle to make a cup of tea. We were very dissapointed. Why prrovide a dining table without supplying anything to use on it. If the apartment had those facilities it would have been great. A real shame

Very rustic French charm! Beautiful building and rooms! Great staff! Very friendly people in the hotel and town! Great restaurants(of course it's France!) unpretentious and one of the nicest Places we have stayed in France! Definitely on our list of towns to come back to, and will certainly book the belle époque again! Si and hels tattersall UK
