Score from 814 reviews Good
Very good location for the Train Station.
I got there late (10.30pm) so when I arrived my room was really cold.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Berkeley. The location was excellent 1 minute from Montparnasse metro stop, using "rue D'Odessa exit. Reception staff were always helpful and attentive. The room was adequate for our stay, although we did pay more for a superior room but we wouldn't say it was superior, as such, but only what would be expected for a normal double room. Overall, I would recommend staying at this hotel without any hesitation.
Not a major complaint but the bathroom floor would get flooded everytime we used the shower due to the open gap, i.e. no door closure just a full screen about 3 quarters of the way along the width of the shower cubicle, however, this would not put me off staying at this hotel again!
Location very near to metro, heating very good, helpfull staf
Wi-fi was not avaliable due to low signal esxpecially during night; poor room for breakfast
great team, very helpful, my girlfriend was sick and they called a doctor for us, very kind really. and great location, we were dinning at the tour montparnasse's restaurant, then went to the club just nearby, great time !
Close to the train station with Friendly staff
Stayed in a room on floor one and could hear some flushing water noises intermittently from other rooms during the night
Good location, WIFI speed not bad
Bed is too small for couple, the towel looks bit old
the lady worked in the lobby was so nice to people. the room is clean and good light, it is small but it is Paris, understand
the lights in the path are too dark if you can't find the key to light them, better you could use voice control light.
Location Staff Bathroom
Rooms, though not large, were perfectly adequate. It is a very busy area but the effectiveness of the double glazing was excellent. The street was extremely central, but for travellers, for example from Montparnasse or via the Metro, brilliant. Two minutes from cinema seat to bed. Staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
If you want elegance this area is not for you. The street is one of eating places, none of top quality - though No 65 at the end of the road was very good.
The location is perfect, Metro station down below. Restaurants and Montparnasse cultural ambiance around the corner. Happy and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. What more? I come back often when in Paris.
Small thing. Elevator didn't work when we came. Got fixed.
Good area Nice personnel Very clean
Room too small A bit old fashioned
Just needed a reasonably comfortable bed and adequate bathroom for a one night stop near Montparnasse Gare - which the Berkeley met. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Shampoo bottle was empty!
Staff were a so helpful and friendly. Made a huge difference to my stay, Wish all hotel staff were as willingly helpful.
Good location, very clean, nice friendly staff, close to many interessting places,
The location, the staffs
The wifi internet
Breakfast, staff, location, wifi are all great. Bed and linens are nice.
Rooms, bathrooms, elevator are very small and lacking style. If you're alright with that, it's a good place to stay.
location rooms recently refurnished quiet
Close to metro Cheapish for Paris
Bed/pillows was terrible, aircon wasn't consistent either too hot or too cold. Wifi was annoying, having to log in every 15 mins
Close to metro, easy to find. City sightseeing hop on hop off bus has a stop near the hotel. Close to main tourist atractions. Clean. Friendly staff. Silent. The shopping center just across the street, many shops in the vicinity. Many restaurants around.
Rather small room
Excellent location. Staff found my forgotten charger and returned it to me, I was pleased!
Location, by Montparnasse metro station, clean bathroom
Tiny, no Kleenex in bathroom
Close to Montparnasse which made for easy access to the metro in the morning prior to an early flight out of CDG. Easy to find, too. The room was small but typical of Paris. It was very clean and the bed linens were comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful.
The mattress wasn't great, but ok.
Excellent location near Montparnasse Railway Station. Very helpful staff.
Noisy, but not extremely, what concerns the rooms facing the Montparnasse Tower.
Close to lots of theaters
I didn't like feeling like I got ripped off. Multiple times. Between the room, which was nothing like the picture, and then upon our departure. :/ We had the front desk call us a taxi and it was one of the scam taxis that tried charging us double for a ride to the airport. The meter was at 17 euros right when we even stepped foot in the cab. I was too tired and shy to say anything, my boyfriend did later on when I told him, and so we ended up not paying the total taxi amount....But.. I thought that we could count on the hotel to call the right cab service. guess not.
The room is very noisy, it is impossible to sleep even If the window is closed. The room is 11sqm which is very very small.
