Hotel Berlioz  

People is very nice, it is really near the train station, Nice is not very big, so from the hotel you can just go to the beach by work about 15mins, and you can through the big shopping street on your way to the sea. and the hotel room is very tidy and clear, if you just want a clear room for take good rest but not very expensive, i think this one can be a really good choice.

Good location, clean room, nice owners

Convenient location in city centre to beach, shops, great restaurants, train station and bus stop! Room was clean tidy and bed very comfortable. Quiet at night - no noise from surrounding streets or other guests in hotel . Very friendly owner who couldnt do enough to help - indeed was kind enough to print out our boarding tickets for return trip home! Most welcoming - good breakfast - first class! Will return!

The hotel looked fresh and clean (the room was cleaned every morning as long as we were away). The location was very good - a short walk from the train station and a 15-20 minute walk to the beach or the Old Town. The room was comfortable - with a/c, spacious bathroom with a good shower, tv and a wardrobe. There's a breakfast buffet available, but we didn't use this option, so can't comment. The internet connection was great to have at the hotel. It was strongest at the lobby, but our room on the top floor still had good enough signal for checking emails and general browsing (although probably not strong enough for watching videos etc). Overall, great value and glad we picked this hotel.

There isn't generally anyone at the desk at the lobby, especially in the afternoon and evening, unless they're expecting people checking in or out. So it feels more like apartments than a hotel. But you get a key to the front door and there's cctv in the lobby, so it feels secure. The owner is always just a telephone call away. Expect an email the day before you arrive, confirming your booking and asking about the time of your check-in. I found this communication quite reassuring and useful.

Clean and tidy room, easy and near to reach the beach. The staff is very helpful.

Attentiveness of manager of hotel to clients needs. I arrived late night and received phone cal with confirmation that they will wait for me Breakfast was waiting me in time and choice for breakfast was very good as for such level hotel Perfect location for train station and close to city centre

Location (close to the train station) was excellent.Hotel rooms small, however very very clean. Staff were helpful and very friendly.I would definitely stay here again.

The only downside would be there is no one avail on reception after abut 7pm, and there is no lifts to the 3rd floor (however the hotel owner carried my suitcase up).

Friendly & helpful staff; hotel located near the Gare de Nice Ville train station; good value for the money.

The bed took up most of the space in the room, so hotel is not ideal for long stays with lots of luggage. Also, the shower/bathroom were pretty tight. But everything was clean and the little balcony was good for getting some fresh air.

Bon hotel, simple, efficace et convivial. Bien situé près de la gare. Vraie qualité d'accueil: le responsable de l'hotel est disponible au telephone quelle que soit l'heure. Idéal pour les arrivées tardives: le gérant envoie les codes par SMS ou message vocal et prépare les clés et documents. Service attentionné et agréable.

Chambre petite, petit-déj manquait de variétés.
