When I came to the hotel with my reservation, the room had been given away. The lady owner asked if I could stay in her apartment across the street. I had a room for one night in her teenage son's room with all his sports equipment and even a dirty sock on the floor. The next days I stayed in the hotel and that room was okay, but it was not the one I had specifically reserved for. The hotel is cute and charming, but this sort of cavalier attitude to reservations is not good.

Fantastic position. Really ideal. The street is quiet and it's possible to sleep keeping the window open. Not all staff is super friendly..service is limited. Bed are bad. Double bed in the night becomes two single beds.. With a big hole in the middle.

well, the location was excellent - 10min for the Louvre. Situated just by the river we (2 adults + 3 under 13yrs old) were able to walk everywhere. We stayed on the 3rd Floor and rooms are small(ish) but practical. Located in Rue de Lille in a nice old building. It was one of the best valued I was able to find short term - we decided to go to Paris only 7 days before the arrival date. Nothing really - yes, it is small and the breakfast is basic but the Hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff is very friendly.

As is common in Paris, the rooms are small, the bathrooms are smaller, the elevator smaller still and in this case it didn't go to the top floor where our room was located. Additionally the double bed was actually two single beds pushed together. In our room the bathroom was actually up a small set of stairs but still in the room and private. However, these are not uncommon features of a Parisian hotel, so if you can accept them as quaint then the hotel is very clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was surprisingly quiet at night, breakfast was simple but fresh, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location for a tourist visit was fantastic. If you have trouble with mobility be sure you are not on the fith floor. The elevator only goes to the fourth.

The location is wonderful, but we also enjoyed the hotel for its historic value. It dates back about 300 years and everything is small and very Parisian. It was good to experience something so typical. The rooms were small and the bathroom squeezy, but it just added to the charm. The breakfast was fine and plentiful and served in a cellar area which was also cute. It was very easy to visit the sights of central Paris and close to the cafes of the St Germain area. It was a bit of a drag to carry cases up steep stairs as the elevator only goes to L4 and I would have liked a bell boy service for this.

compare to the price I paid I stayed in a room without the window .It was quit surprising for me .There was a little terrace at the entrance of my room of which I found quit sympathic but because of the weather it was useless.Still I would rather be informed about the room before the entrance.

The whole hotel was extremely charming, and the staff was most friendly and accommodating. It was within easy walking distance of the Louvre and Notre Dame. We would definitely come again. The room was small, but that's to be expected. The ceiling fan was dusty, and there were some stains on the comforter and some trash in one of the drawers.

A small hotel, very conveniently located in a quiet street one block away from the Seine. Very near the Musée d'Orsay and Louvre and on walking distance of many other sites. Staff was very helpfull. We were lucky to park our MPV right in front of the hotel entrance and they offered to renew the parking ticket for us every two hours (maximum stay) while we were exploring the city. They did so for two full days. This was more service than could be expected ! A simple French breakfast is served in the very "petite" basement. Of course there are many breakfast alternatives in the neighbourhood. The rooms and bathrooms are very small. Everything just fits in, but really just. However, this is to be expected in the centre of Paris unless you are prepared to pay much more...

We could walk to most of the Paris sites. We were two senior ladies and we were in a safe area to come home at night to. Glad to see the lift. It was about a 10 minute walk from the underground, pulling bags. The breakfast was extra 10 euro's and 4 euro's for a coffee.

The Musee D'Orsay, just around the corner No tea, coffee or milk to go with the kettle and cups in the bedroom, a very mediocre breakfast with the worst cup of tea I've ever tasted, rather expensive, not value for money

The young man who worked during the day Sat and Sun. He was terrific! I should add that we were told the taxi to the airport would cost 55 euros....When we reached the cdg the driver asked us for 65 euros. We settled for 60...not good... It needs updating. I have not pulled a chain to flush the toilet since 1970! The drain in the tub did not work...dirty water stayed in the tub all night but it was promptly fixed in the morning.

Needs renovation. Very little room (small TV over the entrance door, as there is no other place in the room for it). To reach the room had to go upstairs from the 4th to the 5th floor as the elevator does not go to the 5th floor. Tiny bathroom. We had to climb steps (1 meter up) to get to the bathroom in our room. Almost impossible to find parking nearby.
