Staff is very nice and helpful. Every day cleaning. Good location: 30 minutes from Louvre and 30 minutes from Arc de Triomphe and 45 minutes from Eiffel Tower, near to many cafés and fast food restaurants (McDonald's, Quick, Kentucky and French fast food), non stop shops. From the airport you can come to here by RER B and you have to change only once (at the station La chapelle to M2). Near to the metros M2 and M12. Absolutely favorite for this money. Tv in the room.
Small bathroom and small bed. Sometimes we could hear how the neighbourghs enjoyed Paris...
Good location Helpful staff
Bathroom was smelling. Showercabin was small. Sheets were not very clean. Noises from the street could be annoying.
very clean. have clean up everyday.
It was in a nice neighborhood with a nice price. The views were good, and it was clean.
The rule where you have to return your key to the front desk whenever you go out of the hotel was weird. I have never seen that before.
Good location , easy to find. The staffs are nice and make us feel welcome to stay at.
The wifi connection doesn't work after 9 pm. The windows in the room cannot be closed.
Hotel near metro station Clear room Everyday cleaning
It is really cheap and really in a central position. It is already the second time that i stay here.
absolutely friendly staff - recommended
the location was good near to metro station in the heart of city.
No lift, bed was so small,Rooms were stinking.
Location Frigobar into the room Staff Very comfortable double bed
Could be more clean
The bed was comfortable
The shower was broke had to hold the nozzle
hairs in the bathroom..one towel for two people...no hair dryer...not clean...
-Location was OK. -Refrigerator in the room! -Price!
-Really noisy!; -Fixtures were mostly in poor condition; -For 2 travelers everything is somewhat minimalistic (e.g. 1 glass, 1&1/2 towel); -Staff's English was on the same level with my French (which is poor); -WiFi was either slow or absent.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. You can do a lot of things within walking distance from the hotel. Right next door to the hotel is a good pastries shop (we got croissants there for breakfast). There is a "Simply" grocery store within 100m of the hotel. A mall, "Castorama", is close by. In addition to shops, the mall has a food court, and a lower floor that sells household items. For transportation, a bus stop and a taxi cab hub are nearby too. We had a room facing the street, so it gave us some view. There is a shower in our bathroom, which was nice (some hotel rooms in Paris just have a bathtub). The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us as much as they could, and knew enough English so that we could communicate. The gentleman who worked the night shift loaned us his phone's charger so we could charge our phone (we had a European-to-US electrical outlet adapter, but it didn't work).
There was no elevator nor lift. My traveling companions were complaining about this since they had heavy luggage. The stairs were narrow and in a tight spiral, but it was manageable. The room seems cramped. There was just enough space to walk around in the room. This is not a hotel for someone who is claustrophobic. The bathroom has even less space, and is 1/2 to 1/3 smaller than the average bathroom in a standard US hotel.
The hotel is very well placed. It has nice restaurants all around it and it is very conveniently layed.
They tried to put the price up by sending us an email saying that the price was higher. Then they tried to put us in another room. I ignored the email and stated I had booked that room and would not move. They did not offer resistance and let us stay for the reserved price. But I find that kind of behaviour almost insulting. Don't go here with children and be prepared to have the bare minimum.
close to the metro station Place de Clichy. You can also walk to Arc de Triumphe In general the size of room was ok for one person. Cheap breakfast (5 euros)
bathroom was quite destroyed (a hole in shower) view from window was on the street and it was noisy during the day because of the crowded street. If you want to relax, you won't be happy with that.
We were able to book at the last minute. The location is great, right off of Place de Clichy stop. Nice view from our room. There was a weird large painting of a crying child above our bed, but it gave us a lot of laughs. There was a mini-fridge that we didn't use. The lobby has many maps and brochures. I asked for an extra towel, and it wasn't a problem. This place wasn't that bad. I think it was better than the pictures. We always felt safe.
Some of the staff did not speak english, so there were a few confusions on keys and payments which left us feeling a little stressed at times.
Price and friendly staff who were patient with my poor French and willing to speak English if needed.
Thin walls and weird smell from bathroom but the value for money made up for this.
Staff friendly and helpful. Good location.
The room totally different with what we have seen from the web. The wifi very poor.
Only the location was good
It is expensive for a very old and dirt hotel liike this. the staff does not know english well. at first there was a woman I asked the payment she said I need to pay it on the last day. When I come to hotel at night again there was another man and he was very rude. he wanted me to pay and I said I talked with the woman and she said not today.he was very angry to me.I was with my family.I went upstairs and come back again to pay at midnight. there is no elevator we carried our heavy luggages to the 4th floor. when we are sleeping at night the smoke alarm at the hall started to ring and nobody came to fix it for a long time. the room was so warm we couldnt sleep we opened all the windows. the bathroom was too dirty. everything was very very old. I really do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
For the price .. Everything is good :) I recommended this hotel .... It's near metro station
The staffs don't speak English well but it's okay
Nothing! I didn't stayed there in spite of paying for it.
1. The lock fell to pieces at the moment I inserted the key. 2. Durty 3. Insects 4. Putrescent smell
Nice Location. Value for money.
Very excellent location.
Only 2 staff can speak English.
