Best Western Bastia Centre  

Very efficient.

Ideal business hotel I think. It has everything that you would expect from a hotel of this type - but as always, lacks true character and atmosphere.

It was easy to find and well sign posted. Was within walking distance to the centre although the hotel is at the top of a steep hill.I would recommend the hotel to my friends but would have to inform them about the costs as well...

Expensive to stay and wasnt happy about being charged 7.5 euros to park my car parking..

The room was small but functional. The shower cubicle's doors actually did prevent water from splashing outside. The young male receptionist was kind enough to let us in although we arrived at 11am.

Its location was slightly inconvenient.

Breakfast was the best value thing about this hotel, the rest was over priced.

Hotel is not central or near the port. It is up a long and very steep hill behind the town of Bastia. Fine if you are driving but hopeless if you are on foot and carrying cases. We picked it because of its supposed central location and were very disappointed. The hotel itself is functional but nothing more and is certainly over priced. We had a premium room and the bathroom was a windowless large cupboard that you might find in a caravan.

The hotel is a simple modern accommodation in walking distance of the main attractions.

It is at 900 meters from Bastia downtown and you have to go up the hill which is not very convenient when you don't have a car. The wireless internet in the room did not work everytime...

The room was messed up by a water leak under the bathroom box. At 110 euros the night, I expected a real bathroom, not a plastic bathroom, and one that does not leak in our bedroom. It was disgusting and they could not give us another room. We did not want the breakfast but they offered it to us for the disagreement. I would have preferred a discount on my room rate as I heard the next day it was a routine practice with other customers coming in. We will not stay at Best Western again.

We chose this hotel for it's location, as it was close to the port. This could not have been a better location. It took all of 3 minutes to get to the port for our ferry boat, which was perfect considering our ferry left very early in the morning. The hotel was extremely clean and had a great breakfast!

There was no restaurant at the hotel, only a snack service, and it was a little ways of a walk to get to the restaurants and waterfront, about 10 minutes. That was a little challenging with two small children but other than that it was great..

The stuff was friendly and wery helpfull. The room was quite small but wery nice and clean.

There was no minibar in the room. The hotel was on top of quite big hill.

The rooms are very small and one slow elevator. Also, there is no kettle to heat the water in the room like all other hotels (not baby friendly). You have to pay extra for Parking and I do not recommend the expensive poor breakfast option.
