According to the info in the room there was room service available from reception, but when we turned up at 21:30, due to delays caused by bad weather and heavy traffic, we were told no food was available and that we would have to go out to find something. The mini bar was poorly stocked, it wasn't worth having. Although there was an excellent choice for breakfast they were very slow to top up when running low, the tap on the milk dispenser didn't work properly and nobody seemed concerned. When we arrived we were told our 13yr old could eat for free, by the time it was time to leave we were told this was wrong, our son was classed as an adult and would have to pay, I must add when I complained I was not charged for my son's breakfast, I just didn't want to have to complain in the first place!
The location was great, right between the main high street and a street of restaurants and bars and only 2 blocks away from the river, but the room was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was fitted out excellently and the room was large with high ceilings, it didn't feel too cramped even with 4 of us in there.
